How to Get Diamonds in Infinity Nikki

5 hours ago 2

In true gacha tradition, limited-time banners are usually the focal point of each season in Infinity Nikki, as players eagerly look forward to the latest fashionable ensembles they can flex in terms of both aesthetic and ability. However, to get those coveted outfits for your wardrobe, you'll need a substantial amount of Diamonds to exchange for them. This currency doesn't necessarily grow on trees (though it certainly could if they really wanted), and it's largely up to you to exercise all the possible methods of obtaining Diamonds.

Thankfully, there are actually quite a lot of ways to get Diamonds in the game that don't always require you to open up your wallet, and it's important to keep them in mind as you explore Miraland and all that it has to offer. If your Diamond stores are running a bit low, here are some of the best, most reliable methods to get Diamonds consistently in Infinity Nikki.

How to Use Diamonds in Infinity Nikki

Diamonds are perhaps the most sought-after currency in Infinity Nikki, specifically because of their most important purpose. These pink crystals are used primarily for the outfit banners that are released for a limited time during each seasonal update cycle (usually about a month long).

Diamonds are given in exchange for, in gacha terms, "pulls" from those outfit banners. The more pulls you can make with the Diamonds you have stocked up, the more chances you have to put together the entire ensemble from each banner and even potentially unlock new abilities from those outfits.

While there's always an urgency to complete these outfits before their debut season ends, the game has thankfully since introduced the "rerun" feature. This particularly allows newer players who may have missed previous seasons to have another chance at obtaining certain outfits. However, veteran players can also take equal advantage of this by pulling on banners they weren't perhaps prepared for the first time around, due to a lack of available Diamonds or other resources.

Diamonds can also be used to replenish your Vital Energy, but this isn't particularly recommended when Energy Crystals are a more direct resource for that.

Best Ways to Get Diamonds

With constant anticipation from the player community around the next season's theme and the outfits that may come with it, there's always, in turn, a constant need to collect Diamonds. Depending on how often you pull from banners, it can sometimes feel like there's a shortage of Diamonds to go around. However, there are many reliable ways to ensure that you have an influx of Diamonds coming in one way or another, all without breaking the bank.

Mira Crown Pinnacle Contest

One especially useful way to get a big boost of Diamonds all at once is the Mira Crown Pinnacle Contest. You can unlock this special tier of the Mira Crown by completing at least the third round of the regular Mira Crown Styling Contest, which is permanently available to participate in.

The Mira Crown Pinnacle Contest consists of eight rounds of style challenges and lasts for about half a season's cycle. In other words, you can usually complete up to two Mira Crown Pinnacle Contests per season, with fresh rewards offered for each one. In each style challenge round, you must adhere to the requested theme and labels for that round to get as many style points as possible towards your final score.

As you complete rounds of this contest, you can, in turn, unlock tiers of resource rewards for your efforts via the 'Rewards' icon in the bottom-left corner of the contest menu (below the Sparklite Store). Also, the higher scores you get for each round (1 to 3 stars), the more reward tiers you can unlock, depending on how many stars you've earned.

If you manage to get perfect scores for all eight rounds in the contest, this adds up to a staggering 900 Diamonds total. On top of that, you'll also receive Sparklite tokens (requires 12 stars or more), which can then be exchanged in the Sparklite store for both Resonite and Revelation Crystals.

Daily Diamond Buff from Monthly Gift Purchase

One of the more endearing things about Infinity Nikki, compared to some other games in the gacha genre, is that it provides sufficient leeway for players to keep their participation 'F2P', or "free-to-play". Depending on how you prefer to play and your personal budget, you can reap rewards from seasonal banners on at least a fairly consistent basis and not spend a dime.

However, if you prefer to go the extra mile in collecting outfits, the in-game store does provide various transactional options for bulking up your Diamond stores. In terms of staying extremely budget-friendly, though, to pick one, there's one option that stands out from all the rest — the Monthly Gift.

Don't miss out on any precious diamonds ahead of the big 2.5 update!

Found in the 'Treasure' tab of the in-game store, you can purchase what amounts to a monthly pass of daily Diamonds (for the equivalent of $5 USD). Each day upon logging in, you'll automatically receive 90 Diamonds on top of anything else you earn during gameplay. This consistent dispersal of Diamonds can act as a cost-efficient boon of resources that you only need to refresh once a month at most. It also provides you with 300 Stellarites upon purchase, which you can either exchange for even more Diamonds or use toward certain fashion purchases in the store.

All in all, this monthly purchase can dramatically increase your Diamond intake each season without breaking the bank. Be aware, however, that you can potentially miss out on a day of free Diamonds if you don't log in to the game on a certain day while your Monthly Gift pass is active. Those missed Diamonds, unfortunately, cannot be recouped at a later date, so staying active enough in-game is the key to making the most of this option.

Hidden Treasure Chests

Exploring every nook and cranny in Infinity Nikki's different regions is another key method to earning copious rewards, including Diamonds. A single region in the game can have hundreds (yes, hundreds) of treasure chests scattered across its landscapes, and these chests almost always include some amount of Diamonds for you to claim. The basic chests will have 5 Diamonds, while the rare, glowing chests will have 30 Diamonds.

Should you manage to cover a good bit of ground in a gameplay session, thorough exploration for these treasure chests can have you walk away with potentially hundreds of Diamonds for your efforts, on top of other rewards like Blings, Threads of Purity, and even the occasional outfit sketch.

While these treasure chests don't refresh after they've been opened, as Miraland continues to expand, there will always be more than plenty of them for players to find.

Quest Rewards

This is perhaps the most fundamental of methods for earning Diamonds in Infinity Nikki, but it's still not one to be overlooked. Each region of the game has a surprisingly long list of quests for players to do, and most of them provide Diamonds as at least one reward for completing their objectives.

While each season comes with its own batch of unique exclusive quests that follow its given storyline, it's important not to forget that there are also countless world and random quests waiting to be picked up in every corner of the map. Some of them can even lead to their own little questlines and have you juggling plenty of rewards afterward.

On top of that, there are usually several more seasonal world quests that you can track in the Events menu during any given season of the game. Before you know it, you'll not only find yourself closer to total quest completion but many, many Diamonds richer than before.

Glow Up Outfits

A Diamond-collecting method that's easily overshadowed compared to others, but nonetheless lucrative in Infinity Nikki, is glowing up outfits. The Glow Up feature, which can be accessed in your Pear-Pal menu, allows you to boost the stats of any outfit (complete or incomplete) by using a mix of Shiny Bubbles, Blings, and Threads of Purity.

Outfits can initially be "glowed up" to Level 10 with these resources. From there, you can push it further to the "max level" by using themed Glitter Bubbles or Swirl Bubbles. For instance, a Cool-themed outfit will require a certain number of Glitter or Swirl Bubbles (Cool) to push the outfit to its max level.

Upon glowing up an outfit to its maximum level, you'll in turn receive rewards that can include Diamonds or Resonite/Revelation Crystals, depending on its rarity. Not only does this give you an outfit that can, in turn, be used effectively in styling challenges or the Mira Crown contest, but it incentivizes you even further with rewards like these.

Event Challenges

infinity-nikki-event-challenge-example-header

Another practical method for stocking up Diamonds each season is by completing that season's respective event challenges. This refers to the tiered challenges found in the Events menu, typically under the 'Fun to Play' tab. Each tier (or stage) of the challenge requires you to complete an instanced objective, and successfully doing so often gets you a hefty amount of resource rewards, including Diamonds.

Even better, sometimes these challenges include extra treasure chests within their instances that hold even more rewards as an incentive for taking the time to seek them out. Not all seasonal challenges include this, but it will be noted in the challenge menu if so (as seen above).

Furthermore, completing these event challenges can, in turn, contribute toward other types of event challenges, such as the ones that provide outfits as their grand prize, along with even more Diamonds. They may include an objective that pertains to mini-game challenges like these, so there's all the more incentive for you to conquer them.

Note that rare item rewards like Diamonds are usually only rewarded as a first-time clear prize for these challenges.

Daily Wishes

infinity-nikki-daily-wishes-example-header

Perhaps it's an obvious choice, but Daily Wishes serve as your bread and butter for obtaining Diamonds on a daily basis as easily as possible. Found in the Daily Tasks menu, these are general objectives you can complete each day in order to earn up to 90 Diamonds.

The objectives in question are usually pretty simple and can often be done within a few minutes of gameplay. The most involved ones require completing trials in the Realm of Darkness or the Realm of Eureka, or finding and completing a mini-game in the overworld. These are usually mixed with easier ones that require you to take a photo of anything, craft a sketch, upgrade a Eureka you already have, use the Dig, Pear-Pal feature, and more.

It's good to get into the habit of completing these Daily Wishes as soon as you log into the game. This way, you have a new batch of Diamonds to start the session with, and some of those objectives you complete can serve other purposes too.

Folklore Games and Mini-Games

infinity-nikki-folklore-mini-games-header

One other type of content in Infinity Nikki that can be easily overlooked in terms of Diamond rewards is overworld mini-games. Specifically, this pertains to the Folklore box games as well as the mini-games found in various areas of each region.

The Folklore box games are the suitcase-sized mini-games that are scattered across each major region. Per their name, they pertain to certain aspects of that region's culture in terms of their design and objective. Completing each one gets you a handful of Diamonds, but there's more to it than that. Once you've found and completed a certain number of these box games in a given region, you can then visit a resident box game expert (e.g. - Ciceto in Wishfield and Gulitott in Itzaland) and upon congratulating you for your progress, they'll further reward you with more Diamonds each time you reach these thresholds.

You can track your progress via the Folklore Guide in the Pear Pal menu, and if you see a red notification, that may very well mean that you're due for a Diamond reward from one of those NPCs.

There's also plenty of overworld mini-games that you can find and participate in across Miraland. Simply talk to the NPC standing in the small check-in booth to start the game, and you'll earn Diamonds for each first-time clear.
