It is not easy to survive in the wasteland that is Appalachia in Fallout 76, with constant threats lurking around every corner. Nearly every location you visit will have countless enemies breathing down your neck, and if you don't have a legendary weapon, you won't be taking them down very easily.

Microscopes in Fallout 76 have some great materials that will help you build and mod weapons.

Thanks to the Burning Springs update, there are some additional legendary items you can get your hands on, with one being the Meadow Breeze Sprayer. This special legendary energy weapon is unique, and you can only get it in one way.

Let's break down everything you need to know about the Meadow Breeze Sprayer in Fallout 76.

What is the Meadow Breeze Sprayer?

Fallout 76 Meadow Breeze Sprayer Added to Inventory

The Meadow Breeze Sprayer is a special energy weapon in Fallout 76 that uses plasma cartridges for ammo. The weapon emits a reddish mist when sprayed that burns enemies it touches.

This mist applies the burn effect for five seconds to any enemy that comes into contact with it. Along with this, it deals energy damage to all enemies.

The Meadow Breeze Sprayer has the following legendary bonuses applied to it:

  • +50% armor penetration
  • Replenish 15 action points with each kill
  • Weapons break 50% slower

These are decent bonuses that allow you to take further advantage of other perks that help penetrate enemy armor. For instance, you can combine it with the Tank Killer perk, which allows your ranged weapons to ignore enemy armor.

For bonuses, the Meadow Breeze Sprayer counts as a fire weapon and an energy weapon, allowing you to gain bonuses from both the Pryo-Technician and Science perks for increased fire and energy damage based on your character's intelligence stat.

How to Get the Meadow Breeze Sprayer

Fallout 76 Meadow Breeze Sprayer Bodhi

While the Meadow Breeze Sprayer is a part of the Burning Springs content, it is not a weapon you will get by completing events, capturing a workshop, or completing bounty board objectives. Instead, you will need to go out of your way to find the Burning Springs collectibles.

To obtain the Meadow Breeze Sprayer in Fallout 76, you will need to find 76 Abraxodyne Intel cases. These are a special kind of collectible that is unique to the Burning Springs section of the Fallout 76 map.

Abraxodyne Intel cases are light blue briefcases with the Abraxo star logo on top. You will recognize this star from the various Abraxo Cleaner items scattered around the wasteland.

There are over 150 of these intel briefcases scattered around the Burning Springs section of the map. Each one will count towards a side quest called Dirty Laundry, given to you by Bodhi in Athens, Ohio, after finding one of these cases.

Thankfully, you don't need to bring all 76 cases to Bodhi to receive the weapon. Instead, once you have collected 76 of them, the weapon will automatically be placed in your inventory, allowing you to use it right away.

To find these cases quickly, I recommend traveling to each of the locations in Burning Springs and searching from top to bottom. There are numerous cases in the major cities of Athens, Albany, and Highway Town. Along with the cases in these areas, there are Abraxodyne Caches that will get you multiple intel cases at once. These can be found in the following locations:

  • Dino Peaks Mini Golf: Cache located at the base of the volcano.
  • Albany: Cache is located on the second floor of the white house in the southeast of the town.
  • Fort Steuben: Cache is located in the room at the top of the tallest tower.

You can also find one or two cases in each of the locations in Burning Springs, making them very easy to locate. It took me around an hour or two to find enough to get the weapon.
