As Nikki's journey in Infinity Nikki brings her to the somber yet beautiful fields of a northern region of Itzaland known as the Boneyard, it comes with a cascade of new content, activities, and treasures to find. Fashion certainly isn't left out of the picture, either. Thankfully, there's a new challenge in the 2.5 season that offers the best of both worlds.

Deemed the Tales of Itzaland II challenge, you're tasked with completing a variety of objectives around the Boneyard's many areas. In turn, you'll get plenty of valuable rewards for your efforts, including the whimsical Verdant Chord outfit. Here's everything the challenge entails and how to complete each objective.
How to Complete the Tales of Itzaland II Challenge in Infinity Nikki
The Tales of Itzaland II challenge is found in the 'Current Adventures' tab of the Events menu (as seen above). Similar to other challenges in the game, it requires you to complete a variety of objectives spread out over several "days" in order to obtain a tiered gauge of rewards. As you complete each objective, you'll earn 100 x Travel Insight: Boneyard tokens, which contribute toward unlocking those tiers of rewards.
You're free to complete the objectives in any order you wish, and you don't necessarily need to do all of them to get maximum rewards. This challenge event is available throughout the duration of the Where All Souls Return (2.5) season, which ends around May 28, 2026. So make sure to get all the rewards you want before that deadline.
Day 1 Objectives
The first day of objectives involves activities like flying via dragon statues and riding Windrider Boards.
Riding the Dragon's Shadow
Description: Fly a total of 500 meters using a Spiritleap Dragon Statue or Skystride Dragon Statue.
These statues are scattered across the region, both in the main city of Great Lumieville and surrounding open world areas. Approach and interact with one, and Nikki will leap up into the air and fly for as long as she has energy. Do this until you get a cumulative 500 meters of flight time. It should only take 2–3 trips to achieve this.
Rowing Together
Description: Catch 1 fish with Momo while riding a Drift Boat.
You can use a Drift Boat in the Blue Pools area of the region. Once onboard, set out into open water, then pull your oar back into the boat to move freely. Equip your Fishing ability outfit and cast your line out to fulfill the objective. You don't need to actually catch any fish.
Bounce Away the Blues
Description: Get launched once by a Dragon Springbud.
You can find Dragon Springbuds around the perimeter of the Blue Pools area of the region. They're giant red flowers that you can leap onto and use as a springboard to jump high and reach treasures or hard-to-reach areas. Bounce once on one of these flowers to fulfill the objective.
Chasing the Wind
Description: Slide 500 meters using a Windrider Board.
Similar to the Drift Boats, Windrider Boards are also found around the Blue Pools area, though in the grassy hills rather than in the water. Hop onto one, and you can surf it down the nearest hill until it comes to a stop on level ground. They're a bit stiff to maneuver, so do your best to stay on course as long as possible. You'll likely need to ride more than one of these to reach the 500-meter threshold for the objective.
Day 2 Objectives
The second day of objectives mainly pertains to simple objectives such as Soulseeing, playing an instrument, or revealing one of the many souls around the region.
A Lucky Reading
Description: Experience Soulseeing once.
Soulseeing is done via the Soul Whisper mini-game, which you can find in Great Lumieville. Teleport to the city's main entrance, go inside, then turn right and go down the walkway a short distance until you find the NPC Enigme sitting on a ledge to your right. Speak to her to try Soulseeing and get your reading.
Note that this will cause your Nikki to change into an outfit that's thematic to your reading, but you can change out of it via your Wardrobe.
Melodic Encounter
Description: Play any outfit instrument once near the Great Soulconch.
While next to the Great Soulconch in the Healing Ground area east of Great Lumieville, use any instrument-playing outfits you have unlocked near it and play a few notes to fulfill the objective.
Reveal the Soul
You'll first encounter souls during the main storyline in Chapter 6 as Angert escorts you to Great Lumieville. Approach and interact with them to fulfill this objective.
Deep Breath
Description: Meditate once.
To unlock this feature, you first need to progress through the Itzaland main storyline to Chapter 7 (The Rising Tide). Next, find and pick up the 'Become a Meditation Master!' world quest, which is located in the Healing Ground area of the region. Complete its goals, and this one objective will be fulfilled.

Fighting and talking is fine, but checking every corner of the map is the real key to these titles.
Day 3 Objectives
The third day of objectives requires you to take photos at various indicated locations around the Boneyard.
Where Souls Wander
Description: Take 1 photo at Blue Pools.
For this objective, you need to head specifically to this event spot in the Blue Pools area labeled as 'Snap! Capture the World'. It's just north of the Cultivarium. Once there, enter photo mode and take any kind of photo you want in that spot.
Farewell to the Tide
Description: Take 1 photo at Whitetide Pier.
For this objective, head south along the beach from the Cultivarium until you reach the end of the cliffs. Take a photo at the event spot indicated on the map to fulfill the objective.
Ancient Dragon Ruins
Description: Take 1 photo at Dragon Ruins.
For this photo objective, you'll need to make it all the way to the Dragon Ruins on the far east side of the region. You can technically make it here before finishing the main story, though we recommend that method for full immersion. Take a photo near the Dragon Ruins Warp Spire to fulfill the objective.
Dragon's Rest in Bloom
Description: Take 1 photo at Dragonrest Flowerfield.
For this photo objective, if you haven't done it already by happenstance when first running through here, teleport back to the Dragonrest Flowerfield at the start of the Boneyard region. Take a photo at or around the Dragonrest Flowerfield Warp Spire to fulfill the objective.
Day 4 Objectives
The fourth day of objectives focuses on repairing dragon bones and completing a Dragonbone Puzzle.
First Dragon Bone
Description: Repair the dragon bones near Blue Pools.
For this objective, your destination is near the Soul Observatory on the southwest side of the region, just south of the Blue Pools area. Look for the giant dragon skeleton that's missing a few pieces. You'll also automatically start a respective random quest to repair it. Use your Dragonbone Master ability outfit to pick up nearby bones and place them back into the dragon skeleton in the empty spots.
If the spot turns blue, it's the correct spot for the bone you have. If it's red, it's the incorrect spot. Once all bones are repaired, the random quest will be completed, and you'll fulfill the objective.
Second Dragon Bone
Description: Repair the dragon bones near Dragon Ruins.
The second dragon skeleton is located at Dragon Ruins on the far east side of the Boneyard Region. If you've already done the photo objective from Day 3 for Dragon Ruins, then teleport back there via the respective Warp Spire. Once there, the dragon skeleton will be to your left in the grassy field nearby.
Third Dragon Bone
Description: Repair the dragon bones near Healing Ground.
The third dragon skeleton is located near the Healing Ground area of the Boneyard, just south of the Great Soulconch in the cavernous area nearby.
For this particular one, you'll also unlock a flock of Nela Birds that appears on behalf of your efforts. Grooming these birds contributes toward another objective in the challenge.
Mural Restorer
Description: Restore Dragonbone Puzzle.
The Dragonbone Puzzle you need to restore for this objective is the one located right in the atrium of Great Lumieville, on the north side. Once there, use your Dragonbone Master ability outfit to manipulate the tiles on the puzzle board until they form
Day 5 Objectives
The fifth and final day of objectives gives a wider variety of options, such as playing Relic Tracker and collecting Whimstars.
Whimstars at Sea
Description: Collect Whimstars on the offshore island at Tidefoam Beach.
Head to Tidefoam Beach on the southern coast of the Boneyard region, near the Cultivarium. Use the dragon statue on the grassy cliff a short distance to the south from the Tidefoam Beach: Lookout Bay warp spire to reach the smaller island to the south first (the one with a tall monument on it). Then use the next dragon statue there to reach the island with the tree to the east.
Relic Tracker
Description: Play Relic Tracker and collect artifacts to exchange for rewards.
From the Healing Ground area, follow the main path to the southwest until you find an NPC vendor named Herod who also helms the Relic Tracker mini-game. Speak to him to play it, and success will allow you to purchase items from his shop.
Shadows Beneath Water
Description: Catch an Umbrella Fish of 3.3kg or more.
Umbrella Fish can be caught in specific areas of the waters around the Boneyard. After catching one for the first time, use your tracker to find supplemental spawn locations. Catch one that weighs 3.3kg or more to fulfill the objective.
Feather Cleanup
Description: Find and groom a Nela Bird.
As mentioned in a previous entry, the Nela Bird is a rare creature that only spawns once you've repaired the third dragon skeleton near the Healing Ground. There will be a trio of them tucked inside one of the bones in the center of the skeleton (as seen above). Groom them to fulfill the objective and also unlock Nela Feathers as a new crafting material.
All Tales of Itzaland II Challenge Rewards
The primary reward for completing the various objectives of the Tales of Itzaland II challenge in Infinity Nikki is the Verdant Chord outfit, which is a 4-star, Fresh-themed ensemble. As you unlock tiers of rewards in the challenge, you'll obtain pieces of the first version of the outfit.
Once that is complete, the final tiers of rewards will give you sketches for each piece in order to craft the first evolution of the outfit. You can also fully Glow Up the outfit to get a second evolution, giving you a total of three variants for the Verdant Chord outfit.
