One such puzzle is Warren's office safe, which is a tough one to crack without the necessary clues and information for how it works. If you're scratching your head on this one, here's how to solve Warren's office safe in REPLACED.

Where is Warren's Safe in REPLACED?

This safe puzzle is encountered during Chapter 8 of the main story in REPLACED, specifically when you make it to Warren's apartment in the heart of Phoenix-City after completing the objectives down on the city streets below.

The safe itself is hidden behind a large screen on the back left side of the central area of Warren's apartment (where you listened to Steven's message). Interact with the screen, and it will retract to reveal the tightly secured safe door behind it. You need to solve the combination for it in order to retrieve the copy of A.R.G.O. that's inside to progress the story further.

How to Open Warren's Safe in REPLACED

To open Warren's office safe in REPLACED, you first need to check Warren's computer in the far right room of the apartment. This is where you find information about the safe itself, along with key hints for how to open it. Also, don't miss the 'Stranger in the Mirror' music track collectible while you're in there.

Interact with the computer to pull up the screen interface, and then examine the information found in the 'Safe Manual' and 'IN CASE OF MEMORY LOSS' tabs. These will reveal how the safe functions, and a unique hint (as seen above) that requires "a taste, a sight, a sound, arranged in chronological order".

The items that refer to these senses are scattered around the apartment, and they'll become available to interact with after you've read these files on the computer and revealed the wall safe.

Certain items are included (such as the potted plant and the fragrance) to throw you off, meaning not all of them pertain to the solution, so be mindful of the description of each one. Important parts of their description will be highlighted in yellow (bolded below). Focus on the following items:

Spice Cabinet - Best before April 1977 (Hint: Cayenne) - On a shelf in the kitchen area just to the left of the wall safe
Old Vinyl - Essential Hits '66 (Hint: Substitute) - On a small shelf near a red couch on the lower level of the center room on the right side
Faded Photo - Happy Birthday 12/10/1963 (Hint: Birthday) - On the right side of a long console table on the lower level of the center room.

Once you've found these three items, return to the wall safe and interact with it again to get the prompt to input the password. Again, it'll refer to the hint displayed on the computer about "a taste, a sight, a sound, arranged in chronological order", meaning that you need to refer to these items based on their chronological dates.

Based on these findings and hints, the correct password is: Birthday (1963) - Substitute (1966) - Cayenne (1977)
