Wielding two sidearms in Mina the Hollower is better than one. Yes, it's possible to get a second sidearm slot so you can carry two types of sidearms at once, but it requires a special, well-hidden Dual Sidearm permit. With a bit of effort, though, your dream of carrying both a mist jar and a beckoning collar shall soon become reality.

Here's how to unlock the Dual Sidearm permit and get a second sidearm slot in Mina the Hollower.

How to get the Dual Sidearm permit in Mina the Hollower

To unlock the second sidearm slot, you must purchase the Dual Sidearm permit from Brandish. He's the bluish fellow located just above the Music Hall in Ossex: Bowery, which is the west side of Ossex. However, he may initially tell you to come back after you've boned up (leveled up).

Not just any stat leveling will do; you must reach sidearms level 5 to purchase the Dual Sidearm permit. When you've reached that level, return to Brandish, watch him transform into his alter ego, Holden, and buy the permit for 2,000 bones. From now on, Mina has two sidearm slots on her toolbar — no further action required. To swap sidearms on a keyboard, press E, and to swap them using a controller, press RB/R2 or Select/Back.
