Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core is finally here, and with it comes a whole new way to play the FPS game that players know and love. If you've played Deep Rock Galactic before, then you already know how important beer is to a dwarven diet.

In this particular roguelike, unlocking beers works a little bit differently from its predecessor, and so does purchasing them. In some ways, it's a bit easier, but it can be confusing the first time around.

The original Xbox was full of worlds to explore with a friend.

This guide will cover how to unlock and buy the different kinds of beers you're after. We'll have you good and drunk before too long, so you can get back to being the best Reclaimer there is.

How to Unlock More Beers

Unlocking more of the beers to drink in Rogue Core is actually way simpler than it was in the original Deep Rock Galactic. But before you go and do that, you'll probably want to get a little more familiar with where everything is.

Just up the stairs and past the main terminals, you'll see the bar, but there's a different robot running this bar. This is Omega, and they'll be serving you all your drinks with a hint of sass.

If you're not a fan of roguelikes already, these games will get you on your way.

If you order something from Omega, you'll open the beer menu where you can select your drink of choice, or choose to take on a quest to unlock another. Omega will inform you that you must pass the Beer License Fitness Requirement before you can have that drink.

Certain beers are locked behind player ranking, so you'll need to do plenty of missions to be able to drink

Passing the Beer License Fitness Requirement

Thankfully, to pass this test, you don't actually have to go on a mission or even go all that far from the bar. Just off to the left is the workout area, where you can find four different stations that will have you doing different exercises.

In the center of this area, just above everything, will be a monitor that displays exactly what you need to do. It will provide an image of the exercise along with the number of sets and reps you need to perform.

When you step up to one of the exercises, it will display how many reps you need to pass that requirement. You must meet this requirement in one go, or you'll start all over from the very beginning.

While completing your BLFR, you will not accumulate any heat until the challenge is complete.

Each exercise is a little different, so you may want to give each one a shot before you try to pass your BLFR. It seems a little janky right now, but you'll get three chances to screw up before the exercise ends.

After you complete your BLFR, Omega will be kind enough to pour you a nice cold one to congratulate you. Feel free to drink it up and keep yourself just drunk enough to succeed on your next mission.

Paying for Beer

Paying for beer involves generating heat; there doesn't seem to be an official name yet. This currency can be accumulated by completing the challenges for each lift.

The more complicated the lift, the more you earn, but these also take longer to complete. It's up to you how you earn that heat, but regardless, you'll need at least 250 heat to buy a pint.

Heat is not a permanent currency. Each time you return to the station, you'll need to build up enough heat to purchase a beer again.

When you've earned enough, you can head over to Omega and get yourself a nice ice-cold beer to cool down. Whenever you feel ready, you can head off on another adventure before coming back to celebrate.

This roguelike has a lot on offer already, so make sure to grab your friends and a good drink before diving back into the depths. You'll still play it like an FPS, so you may not want to be seeing double too much.
