Bleakmill just announced that the release of their narrative FPS game, INDUSTRIA 2, will be delayed until the end of the month, as their team of eight puts finishing touches on this sci-fi sequel.
Bleakmill recently surprised fans on April 7th, announcing the game would be released today, but they may have jumped the gun a little bit and have now pushed the release date back to April 29th.
Narrative FPS INDUSTRIA 2 Delayed
Released in 2021, the original INDUSTRIA takes place in Cold War-era East Berlin, where a secret research facility's AI experiments have gone awry, and one of the workers has disappeared.
Despite the State Security's attempts to cover up the incident and destroy records, the protagonist, Nora, presses on in search of her missing colleague, fighting humanoid robots and unravelling the mysteries of a parallel universe.
In INDUSTRIA 2, Nora now comes to terms with the consequences of her involvement with creating this AI, as she is now trapped in the parallel dimension and fighting to escape.

10 Upcoming FPS Games to Keep on Your Radar in 2026
Here are 10 FPS games currently slated to launch in 2026 that players should keep an eye out for.
Bleakmill has stated INDUSTRIA 2 is a much bigger game than the prequel, and will include 24 maps in comparison to the six that were included in INDUSTRIA.
They've also added proper ultrawide support, fixed problems regarding UX, key binding, and correct DLSS initialization, and have introduced a new weapon upgrading system known as the ATLAS vault.
More features mean more work, and this indie team is working hard to bring it home. "Turns out finishing a high-fidelity single-player FPS campaign with a team of 8 is hard. We are punching above our weight with this one once again."
According to Bleakmill, INDUSTRIA 2 testers have said the game feels similar to Half-Life, Bioshock and Resident Evil at times, which is a huge motivation for the developers, as getting the work done in a timely manner isn't the only hurdle they face—they also need to keep the lights on, "It's sometimes overwhelmingly difficult for our tiny team scattered around the globe to make it fully click without burning out and being able to pay everyone fairly every month. A hard balance between passion and the reality of paying bills that most creatives out there face."
INDUSTRIA 2 is now set to release on April 29th for PC, and will include 4–6 hours of gameplay.
