Daredevil: Born Again has become a reunion for the stars of Marvel’s Netflix shows. Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) appeared in season 2, while Luke Cage (Mike Colter) also got a brief cameo. Both actors and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) were also spotted during filming of season 3 in New York, suggesting a full-blown Defenders crossover is in the works. Now, another star from the Netflix-Marvel era is hoping that they’ll also be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jessica Henwick played Colleen Wing in Iron Fist and The Defenders, where she helped Danny Rand fight the Hand. She also showed up in Luke Cage to teach Misty Knight (Simone Missick) how to fight with one arm. Iron Fist season 1 was terrible in no small part because Danny spent so much time mansplaining martial arts to Colleen, who runs her own dojo. But M. Raven Metzner took over as showrunner in season 2 and sidelined Danny to elevate Colleen. By the finale, Danny had decided she was more worthy of the powers of the Iron Fist and used a mystical ritual to transfer her abilities to her so she could become the new protector of Chinatown. Henwick is currently starring in season 3 of Silo, and she spoke to Polygon during a virtual junket ahead of the Apple TV show’s July 3 premiere.
“It's public news that a lot of the cast is going back, and I would love to do it if the story is right,” Henwick tells Polygon. “I loved playing Colleen, and I think it would be really cool after nine years to put the suit back on. Maybe a new suit, maybe a cooler suit. It would be a pleasure. We'll see.”

She first appeared in the season 2 finale, where she met Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) in a bar. Daniel thought his fighter pilot sister had set him up on a blind date with Helen, but she was just hoping he could help Helen get some answers. Despite the awkward start, Helen and Daniel become quite close while investigating a government conspiracy. It’s a far less physically demanding role than playing a superhero, but Henwick used her training on set to build chemistry with her co-star.
“We played tennis and we would wrestle on set sometimes,” Henwick says. “I can pick him up. Like I can pick his whole body up.”
In response, Zukerman, who was paired with Henwick for the interview, joked: “Go back to the MCU."
Silo has already been renewed for a fourth and final season, which was shot back-to-back with season 3. Hopefully Henwick will have some new people to wrestle in Daredevil: Born Again season 3.
