Larian Studios' Baldur's Gate 3 livestream shut down for being too sexy

Larian is officially 'too hot for TikTok and YouTube'

The sex demon strikes again.

Last month, a Baldur's Gate 3 player lost their Honour Mode run for being too horny. Specifically, they went too far with Harleep, Raphael's incubus consort in the House of Hope, by offering up their heart and soul and dying in the process. On the latest livestream from Larian Studios, senior communications developer Aoife Wilson also got down and dirty with Harleep, banning her and Larian's stream from YouTube and TikTok.

Wilson has been streaming a heavily modded Baldur's Gate 3 Dark Urge run. In the House of Hope, she seduced Harleep. A sex scene played out while someone desperately (and unsuccessfully) tried to cover up the characters' naughty bits with a golden D20.

Boinking a sex demon was apparently too much for YouTube, a platform that has an ongoing problem of showing explicit and sexualized ads to users. YouTube banned the stream and, shortly after, Larian was kicked off TikTok too, which has similar problems to YouTube.

"True to form, we have just been banned on several platforms that we’re currently streaming to," Wilson said (via The Gamer). "Where are we even left now? Twitch. Fingers crossed." You can watch the stream in full on X, the social media app where, for better or worse, anything goes. "Too hot for TikTok and YouTube. I’m taking that as a badge of honor," Wilson said.

Part of what has made Baldur's Gate 3 so popular is that you can do a wild variety of things in the game, like bumping uglies with a sex demon. You can also do so with a druid in his bear form, something that garnered a lot of attention for the game before it even came out.

Wilson streams her Durge run every Wednesday at 10 a.m. EDT, meaning you'll have to wait until next week to see if it's back on YouTube and TikTok.
