Laurence is an avid writer, gamer, and traveller with several years of journalistic writing experience under his belt. Having helped create a student-focused magazine at university, he is keen to reach the gaming community with his guides and game reviews.
Whether it's trudging through the world of Elden Ring, or grinding out raids in Old School Runescape, Laurence is always up for a challenge. However, in real life, his current challenge is learning how to speak Spanish and cooking authentic Mexican cuisine.
With the new Riven Tides update in ARC Raiders, a refreshing new map has been added, set by the ocean, filled with deadly new threats and plenty of tasty loot for us extraction nuts to enjoy.
However, not everything in this update was beach-focused. With a new update comes new quests, and this particular quest takes place on Buried City, continuing one of the storylines from the previous update.

Let’s take a look at this new quest and how to get it done, so we can get back to beachcombing. Those boats won’t find themselves!
Prerequisites
To start this quest, you first need to have completed the Last Entry Quest that takes place on Stella Montis. This quest was added during the Flashpoint update.
There is no combat in this quest, so you won’t need to bring much in the way of weapons with you. However, there is quite a bit of traversal, so it makes sense to bring a few Adrenaline Shots with you and perhaps a small shield to keep yourself light.
Line in the Sand Quest Walkthrough
Derailed Train
This quest can often be a little confusing because, most of the time, the hints don’t really point you in the right direction.
Firstly, you’ll need to head to the Marano Station. Once you reach the station, follow the train tracks southwest until you find the train that has fallen off the tracks. Simply by entering the area, you’ll complete the first objective.
The Lookout
At this point, you’ll be tasked with finding out who orchestrated the robbery. However, there isn’t much direction. But fear not, the clues are close by!
Head northeast from the train, and you’ll spot a little lookout tower sticking out of the sand. This is directly northwest of the Piazza Roma Tag on the in-game map. Here you’ll find a little interactable spot. A little Marano Market Business Card will pop out, so scoop that one up.
Pieces of the Past
Once more, you’re given very little indication as to where to go. Instead, you can inspect the business card that you just picked up.
While there is no market in Buried City, there are a bunch of destroyed buildings in the northeast that read Market Ruins. You simply need to head to this location, and the quest will auto-update once you enter the vicinity.
Underground Secrets
At this point, you’re told that there’s an apartment building nearby, but again, where exactly? This took me a little time to figure out, but eventually I found it.
Northeast of the Market Ruins, and directly north of Dune’s End, there’s a little abandoned building. Head inside, and you’ll find a zapline leading down into the underground. Head on down, and you’ll find a bunch of boxes all stacked on top of each other. Take a photo, and then you’re free to return to Celeste at your leisure.
Rewards
For completing this quest, you will be rewarded with the following:
- 2x Exodus Modules
- 2x Magnetic Accelerator
- 2x Magnetron
This is a pretty generous reward for such a short quest. The Exodus modules and Magnetic Accelerators are vital in the crafting of Epic rarity weapons.
In terms of the Magnetron, you can either use this for the Snap and Salvage quest or simply recycle it for more Magnetic Accelerators! They also sell for a pretty penny!
