Magic: The Gathering's new Marvel Super Heroes set not only focuses on, well, the heroic parts of the Marvel universe, but also its iconic villains. One of those, set to play a big part in the Cinematic Universe’s next few movies, is Doctor Doom, which means you can expect multiple cards depicting Victor von Doom across the set. This includes a preconstructed Commander deck featuring Doom and Loki, but there's another Doom card coming to Magic that could be even more powerful — especially when combined with a few other classics.
Some players have noticed that the Doctor Doom card has some notable similarities to Grave Titan since they both create two creature tokens when entering the battlefield. This means Doom can slot into a classic Grave Titan infinite combo that uses two other cards: Nim Deathmantle and Ashnod’s Altar.

As long as you have one of those artifact creatures around (or a 'Plan'—a new mechanic for the set), Doctor Doom is indestructible.
Here's how the combo works: Just as you would with Grave Titan, you sacrifice a Doombot to add two mana via Ashnod’s Altar, and then sacrifice Doom himself to add another two mana.
Paying all four of the mana those sacrifices produce, you can bring Doctor Doom back from the graveyard with Nim Deathmantle attached to him, giving it +2/+2, intimidate, and makes it a black Zombie type. Better yet, that creates another pair of Doombots. Each time you complete the loop, you'll create one extra Doombot. Do it a million times for a massive, unstoppable Doombot army.

Still, at least Doctor Doom himself will be indestructible, so you can always rebuild your army again next turn.
As much as I hate to mix up Universes Beyond precons, I think Doctor Doom could be a really neat addition to the Necron Dynasties deck from the Warhammer 40,000 release. Getting Doctor Doom, flanking him with a bunch of Artifact Creatures so he’s invincible, and letting him amass a robot army sounds like a lot of fun.
Oh, and one final point. The Doom card in question is a Mythic in the set, but it’s not the borderless one that’s included in the connive-focused Marvel precon. That one is Doctor Doom, King of Laveria.
