If you are looking to add a new game to your Steam library, then you will be happy to hear that MMORPG Wild Terra 2: New Lands is currently free to keep on Steam through this weekend.

Developer and publisher Juvty Worlds announced on June 12 that its game, which typically costs $39.99, is entirely free to purchase on Steam through 1 p.m. ET on June 15. This isn't just a free weekend, either. If you redeem the game for free and add it to your Steam library, you can keep it forever and play it as long as its servers remain online.

Originally released in November 2022, Wild Terra 2 is an isometric MMORPG built around role-playing a life in a medieval world. You can focus on farming, fishing, or a variety of other crafts, but it also features PvE dungeon crawling and combat and PvP zones where you can face off against other players.

Currently, the MMO genre is pretty rife with competition. Later this year, Ultima Online's designer is even coming out with a very ambitious new sci-fi one called Stars Reach. It can be tough to go out on a limb and buy a less widely popular MMO like Wild Terra 2 as a result, when it costs nearly $40.

Now that it's being given away for free, you can add it to your Steam library, play it, and see if you like it or not. If you do, you have a new engrossing MMO to add to your game rotation. If not, you don't have to worry about feeling like you wasted money or dealing with the Steam refund process.

There are actually quite a few other free-to-keep games available on Steam this month. As this helpful Reddit post rounds up, you can also add titles like Eets, Gravity Circuit, Happy Humble's Burger Farm, Tell Me Why, and The Red Lantern to your Steam library right now.
