To the delight of Elephant Mario superfans everywhere, pre-orders just went up for First 4 Figures’ officially Nintendo-licensed Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Elephant Mario statue. Wowie zowie.

The statue comes in two different editions: Standard and Exclusive. The Standard version, which costs $544.99, features Elephant Mario in his dramatic, lunging pose. An Exclusive edition, which costs $619.99, adds an Elephant Fruit, the power-up that transforms this plumber into his anthropomorphic form. Both versions are up for pre-order (with a $20 discount) and are expected to ship in Q3 2027.

Here are the dimensions of both:

Elephant Mario statue including base

  • W: 19.1” / 48.5 cm
  • D: 15.9” / 40.5 cm
  • H: 16.9” / 43 cm
  • Weight: 28.9 lbs. / 12.6 kg

Elephant Fruit

  • W: 8.27” / 21 cm
  • D: 7.48” / 19 cm
  • H: 11.02” / 28 cm
  • Weight: 3.7 kg

If the promotional images are to be believed (note: there’s a “Final product may be slightly different” disclaimer at the bottom of these), the statues are quite accurate to their in-game counterparts, capturing the charm of this goofy power-up. In general, First 4 Figures seems to have a solid reputation among statue and figure collectors.

Since Super Mario Bros. Wonder was released in 2023, Elephant Mario has proven a fan-favorite thanks to a fun moveset that lets you smack around goombas with his trunk, spray water, and trample over your foes. The power-up is also simply kind of hilarious, something that has fueled other merchandise like an amiibo and plushies.

As for support of the game itself, Super Mario Bros. Wonder received a Nintendo Switch 2 edition in March, which introduced additional characters, a flower pot power-up, and a new Bellabel Park world with levels focused on competitive and cooperative multiplayer. Overall, the game has sold 17.15 million copies and received widespread critical acclaim for its playful level design and clever revitalization of the 2D Mario formula. It’s a delight and Elephant Mario is the cherry on top.
