Have you ever found yourself so engrossed in a video game, you wanted to step into the screen and live it for yourself? Persona 4 Revival is the game for you. Set in small-town Japan during the early naughties, Atlus's beloved RPG follows a group of high school students tracking down a killer. Atlus first revealed the remake last June, but we haven't heard much about the project since. Now, we know that Persona 4 Revival will launch on Feb. 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X, thanks to a new trailer revealed as part of the Xbox Games Showcase on Sunday.

The Persona series is known for its stylish designs, memorable characters, and phenomenal music, and the original Persona 4 was a sterling example of all those things. In the latest footage of the remake, everything's been given a loving visual overhaul. We see a variety of scenes with the protagonist exploring the town of Inaba, singing karaoke with Yosuke, and hanging out with Marie. (Yes, the presence of Marie suggests we're getting Persona 4 Golden's expanded content — hooray!) We even see Best Girl Chie transform into her dungeon boss form.

In Persona 4, you play as a new transfer student who's just moved to the rural town of Inaba. You'll be living with your uncle Dojima, a gruff detective, and your adorable niece Nanako. As you slowly befriend your classmates, a serial killer strikes, and the crimes are somehow connected to a creepy TV show that only appears late at night on rainy days. To solve the mystery, you'll need to balance the demands of school and social life alongside elaborately themed dungeon crawls.

Persona 4 Revival will launch on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X on Feb. 18, 2027.
