The Phantom Thieves of Heart from Persona 5 might soon be going on the most dangerous mission of all: encouraging gamers to get healthier, which may happen in a new crossover that's being teased online.
As Persona 5 is the most critically acclaimed and popular entry in the Persona franchise, its characters have appeared in numerous crossovers, both within and outside Sega. The most notable of these was Joker's appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but there have been many others over the past decade.
It seems that Joker might be trading the opera mask for a tracksuit, as the official Fitness Boxing Twitter/X account has dropped a massive hint at a crossover between it and Persona 5, either as a DLC for an existing game or a full-fledged title.
Persona x Fitness Boxing Crossover Teased
The text in the post uses the instant messenger font/UI from Persona 5, with the text mentioning a new kind of training between two participants. As this comes from the official Fitness Boxing Twitter/X account, it's almost certainly a legit crossover, one that will be announced as part of the Persona series' upcoming 30th anniversary.
The most likely explanation for the tease is a full Persona x Fitness Boxing crossover game. This wouldn't be the first time there has been a weird Fitness Boxing crossover title, as it has previously done so with Fist of the North Star, the famously violent manga franchise.
It's likely that the Persona x Fitness Boxing game is mostly focused on the incredible Persona 5 soundtrack, which is great for pumping people up and getting them moving, making it the ideal choice for an exercise game.
