Covering the video games industry since 2017, with experience in news, articles, lists, and reviews (and I blame The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for that).
If you are a fan of RPGs and want a third-person version: Tayná Garcia is a Brazilian journalist (but you can call her Tay) who ended up working with video games after finishing Zelda: Majora's Mask when she was a kid. With more than eight years of experience in the segment, she has been an assistant editor at Jovem Nerd in the past and is currently a contributor at DualShockers and a writer for gaming magazines for Editora Europa. Oh, and she may like Hideo Kojima a bit too much.
Beyond creating industry-defining games, Hideo Kojima is well known for being extremely active on social media. He doesn't just share his impressions of movies and TV shows there, but he also constantly posts snapshots of his daily life at Kojima Productions.
This unique transparency means that, naturally, any given photo can be linked to the studio’s titles currently in development, such as OD and Physint. I mean, who doesn’t love a sneak peek, right?

That constant stream of content also gives players plenty of material to theorize about the finer details of these projects – which is exactly what just happened again! Now, fans are diving deep into his latest post, believing that a major casting choice is on the way.
Stockholm Connections Spark New Theories for Physint
Recently, Hideo Kojima shared several photos on X (formerly Twitter) that show him in a video meeting with someone who will be linked to a character in his upcoming games.
But the most interesting part about this publication is the caption accompanying the photos, as the Japanese developer revealed that the call was made to someone in Stockholm, Sweden, and was specifically regarding the “costume fitting” of a character.
This was enough for the community to quickly reignite rumors that the Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård, known for the IT film franchise and the recent Nosferatu, will be a character (or even the protagonist) of Physint, the studio’s upcoming espionage game.
The call was made to someone in Stockholm, Sweden, and was specifically regarding the “costume fitting” of a character.
It is worth remembering that these speculations started last year, since the actor has been seen with Kojima multiple times throughout 2025, with several photos of the two together on Kojima’s Instagram. Also, he visited Kojima Productions in Tokyo a couple of times and even appeared in a mysterious studio presentation. So the latest post only reminded everyone of that!
You can check out the publication right below:
Digging even deeper into the theory, some fans claim that the only promotional art we have for Physint features a character with a facial silhouette that resembles Skarsgård (as seen in the image at the top of this article). While the resemblance is there, I must admit this might be a case of excitement getting the better of our theorists.
However, one thing is certain: Hideo Kojima is surely reading all these fan speculations and smiling, as there isn't a developer more committed to shaking up player emotions than him!
In the meantime, Physint continues without a confirmed release date or platforms.
