On Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the lineup of new games joining its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in July. Rise of the Ronin, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and more will start joining the catalog on July 15 for PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra subscribers.

Rise of the Ronin is a Soulslike from Nioh developer Team Ninja. It takes place during the final years of the Edo period and during the Boshin War as Japan opens up to Western influence and quickly modernizes. You can choose what path to support (pro- or anti-shogunate factions, or Westerners) and the story and its ending will change based on those choices. You'll travel across Japan slicing up dudes with a variety of weapons, like a classic katana and an odachi. A glider and grappling hook open up traversal more than what you'd expect from a Soulslike. "Rise of the Ronin is an adventure worthy of Team Ninja’s pedigree, and a world I enthusiastically look forward to losing myself in for many more hours to come," we wrote in our review of the game.
