Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the lineup of new games joining its PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in March, and, like February's lineup, it's full of must-play additions to the subscription service. The best version of the best Persona game, a throwback Warhammer game, and more are set to join the service on March 17 for Premium and Extra subscribers, Sony revealed in a PlayStation Blog post.

Persona 5 Royal is the enhanced re-release of Persona 5, which originally released back in 2016. It follows a group of students learning about their newfound powers and investigating a supernatural realm. Like other games in the series, it balances social simulation gameplay with classic dungeon crawling. Persona 5 Royal is often regarded as the best Persona game, not just by Polygon, but by many other outlets. Polygon's 2022 review stated Persona 5 Royal "is stylish, full of things to do, and still one of the most interesting JRPGs of this console generation."

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is like a throwback to the Xbox 360/PlayStation 3 era of third-person shooters. It has a tight campaign with linear levels that shuttle you from combat encounter to set piece to combat encounter. While the story might not make much sense if you don't have a ton of Warhammer 40K knowledge, come for the alien shootin' and stay for the bloody satisfying melee finishers. "The endless armies of the Tyranids are great fun to tear apart. Some of the execution animations had me hooting and hollering," Polygon's 2024 review said.

More games are on the way, like 2025's most underrated shooter, Metal Eden. Here's the full list of games joining the service in March:

  • Persona 5 Royal (PS4, PS5)
  • Persona 5 Royal – Ultimate Edition (PS4)
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (PS5)
  • Metal Eden (PS5)
  • Madden NFL 26 (PS5)
  • Blasphemous 2 (PS4, PS5)
  • The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria (PS5)
  • Astroneer (PS4, PS5)
  • Tekken Dark Resurrection (PS4, PS5) (Premium only)

PlayStation Plus's Game Catalog of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games is available to those who subscribe to its higher tiers, above Essentials. It's Sony's answer to Xbox Game Pass, offering hundreds of games for subscribers to download and check out.
