Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen version exclusives list

2 weeks ago 14

Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen have a couple dozen version exclusive Pokémon, including some of Kanto's more recognizable critters like Growlithe (FireRed) and Slowpoke (LeafGreen). These Pokémon are only obtainable in the wild in their respective games. If you want, for example, Sandshrew in FireRed, you'll need to trade with someone who owns LeafGreen. Bear in mind that since the Switch ports of these games don't support online wireless, all trades with other players will have to take place over local wireless connections.

Below, we list all the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen version exclusives, alongside images for each so you know which is which.

All Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen version exclusives

FireRed has 23 exclusive Pokémon, and LeafGreen has 24, all a mix of Pokémon from Kanto with a handful of critters from Johto, including some baby Pokémon, and one mythical Pokémon from Hoenn.
