Pokémon juke box player revealed during Pokémon Presents anniversary stream

Play 45 songs on a retro-styled music player in the shape of a Game Boy

A Pokémon jukebox is on the way, as revealed during the Pokémon 30th anniversary stream. In the shape of a Game Boy, it'll let you play retro tracks from the original Pokémon Red and Blue games.

The Game Boy-styled jukebox is small enough it can fit in the palm of your hand, and will play all 45 songs from the original games. "We took particular care to make the audio sound just like Game Boy," Pokémon Red and Blue composer Junichi Masuda said during the stream. To enjoy the songs, you'll swap in a cartridge for each track, decorated with images and screenshots from the original games.

The Pokémon Game Music Collection is available for purchase starting Feb. 27 from Pokémon Center in Canada, the UK, and the US. Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have not revealed pricing information at the time of this writing.
