Pragmata's Cutest Father-Daughter Update Is Now Available

Pragmata won over hearts with its main duo of Hugh and Diana, who form the gaming world's new favorite father-daughter pair, and now Capcom is celebrating Father's Day by adding the Scribble Suit to the main game for Hugh to wear. Genki_JPN took to X (formerly Twitter) to share Capcom's announcement regarding the suit being added to the main game as a free Father's Day gift.

While Diana and Hugh won hearts as early as the release of the first Pragmata trailer, love for them only grew once the game was released, and you got to watch them bond as they worked as a team to deal with the unfortunate circumstances that brought them together. Celebrating Father's Day with this pair is the perfect choice from Capcom, and adding the Scribble Suit to the main game is a simple yet charming way to do it.

The Scribble Suit is No Longer Limited to the Demo

The Pragmata demo, nicknamed "Sketchbook," was previously the only time you could wear the Scribble Suit. It was an unlocked item in the demo, where you got to test out the gameplay and see if Pragmata was a title you wanted to purchase. However, unlocking the Scribble Suit in the demo didn't mean that the suit carried over to the main game, much to the disappointment of players who quickly flooded forums, such as Steam Discussions, to ask if this adorable outfit is available in the main game, and if so, how to get it.

If you haven't played the demo and jumped right into the main game, then you might not know what the famous Scribble Suit is. True to its name, the Scribbled Suit is a version of Hugh's outfit that has been decorated by Diana, who added numerous drawings to the entirety of the suit, including a big smiley face on Hugh's face covering. The drawings match the style of the various pictures Diana creates during the game, showing them to Hugh while they're in the shelter.

It's the Perfect Time for Another Pragmata Run

If you've already beaten Pragmata once, multiple times, or haven't tried it yet because your gaming backlog is greater than the amount of time you have for gaming, then this weekend is the perfect time to start a new run. The Scribble Suit is now available, so you can celebrate Father's Day by becoming the ultimate girl dad and showing your android daughter how much you love her by letting her put her creativity to use on the suit that protects you.

For those who've maybe heard a bit about the game, but are only now diving into it with the inclusion of the Scribble Suit in the main game because it's too cute to pass up, Pragmata is an action sci-fi game developed by Capcom that puts you in the role of Hugh. He is part of a response team sent to a lunar station after communication with that station was lost, but a lunar quake resulted in him being injured and separated from his team.

This leads to Hugh finding Diana, a type of android called a Pragmata, who's been left behind in storage. Diana adds puzzle elements to the gameplay, as she has the ability to hack systems to expose weaknesses, and her hacking takes the form of a puzzle minigame. Hugh and Diana combine their abilities to handle threats in the lunar station, and their ordeal leads to them forming one of the best familial bonds that we've seen in gaming so far.

There's no better way to celebrate Father's Day in gaming than with the heartwarming pair of Hugh and Diana, especially since they show that being family goes beyond being related by blood. Capcom has been making all the right decisions lately.
