Safe Harbour Quest Guide in ARC Raiders

From dry arid desert sand to cold wet sand. ARC Raiders is a very sandy game. What more can I say? You’ve just come from Buried City, having discovered a secret stash hidden underground and solved the mystery of a derailed train, and now it's back to the beach to continue your search.

The new Riven Tides update progresses the story from Flashpoint, adding intrigue and plenty of quests to a bunch of maps. Now it’s up to you to keep digging and discover the secrets that remain hidden from view.

Why have the restaurant staff been hiding things, and just what on earth is a precision gimbal? Only one way to find out! Let’s get into it!

Prerequisites

As I mentioned previously, before starting this mission, you need to have completed the Line in the Sand quest, which was a follow-up from Last Entry, added in the Flashpoint update.

Additionally, this quest must be completed in a single run. There is a deliverable item at the end; if you die with it, the mission must be restarted from the beginning. Luckily, there aren’t a lot of steps here, and the objectives are rather close together, so there’s little chance of dying.

Kitchen Clues

To begin this quest, head to Riven Tides, preferably on a regular map without a condition, and run to the Hotel, located in the far west.

The restaurant area is located on the 2nd highest floor, the area with the roof caved in. You can get there easily by ascending via the ziplines located throughout the hotel.

Once in the restaurant, head to the small kitchen area and look at the far wall. There should be a little sketch on there. Take a photo to complete the objective.

Wimbledon, ARC Edition

If you had a look at the sketch before taking off, you’ll quickly understand that it’s directing you towards the tennis courts. These courts are located just a little south of the Hotel.

When arriving at the courts, you need to look for a bench with a small embankment of sand behind it. Upon the mound, you’ll find a little pile upon which you can dig. Digging up this pile will give you the Precision Gimbal. All you need to do now is extract safely in order to give the gimbal to Tian Wen, and that’s the quest complete!

Rewards

For completing this quest, you’ll receive the following items:

• 1x Surge Coil
• 1x Heavy Gun Parts
• 1x Horizontal Grip

The Surge Coil is a partially useful tool for area denial, giving you some space from ARC or other raiders trying to get a little too close.

Additionally, the Horizontal Grip can be used on a plethora of automatic weapons, reducing both vertical and horizontal recoil! Useful indeed!

Completing this will unlock the next quest, A Wrench in the Works.
