Fallout 76 Sentry Bot Whitespring Resort and Map

There are plenty of creatures that will mean you great harm in Fallout 76. Odds are, you will end up running across something that wants to kill your character within the first five minutes of stepping out of the vault.

While some creatures are easily destroyed, others can take a massive beating and require a bit more firepower, such as legendary weapons, to deal with them. Sentry Bots are one of those, but they offer some great materials and items in return.

Let's break down where you can locate Sentry Bots in Fallout 76.

Sentry Bot Locations in Fallout 76

There are various locations where you can find Sentry Bots throughout Fallout 76. Keep in mind, Sentry Bots are quite dangerous, requiring a lot of firepower to take down.

I recommend having a solid build and getting some good mutations for your character before attempting to take down a Sentry Bot. With that being said, here are the locations you can locate these robots.

Along with these locations, Sentry Bots are either guaranteed or have a possible chance of spawning during specific in-game events. These events include:

  • Battle Bot
  • Project Paradise
  • Most Wanted
  • Test Your Metal

Sentry Bots have a higher damage resistance than they do energy resistance. Because of this, you will want to use energy-based weapons against them.

These robots are armed with a minigun on each arm, making them very deadly if you remain in their sight for a long time. Being a Ghoul is helpful against them thanks to your enhanced durability.

Once a Sentry Bot is destroyed, there will be a short countdown. At the end of the countdown, the Sentry bot will explode. If you are near the robot at this time, you will most likely perish in the blast.

Because of this timer, I recommend waiting to collect the loot from a defeated Sentry Bot. You will still have access to the loot after it explodes.

It is also important to note that the Sentry Bots around Whitespring Resort are friendly and will not attack you unless you attack them first.
