Now raiders have made it back to Riven Tides, the "Shoring Up Defenses" quest in Arc Raiders is all about protecting the place better. Arc enemies are still scouring the skies and crawling around corners, of course, but every little bit helps, so you need to take down both Wasps and Fireflies, and you need to lay down some protective materials.
Here's everything you need to do to complete the "Shoring Up Defenses" quest in Arc Raiders.
'Shoring Up Defenses' quest steps in Arc Raiders
The "Shoring Up Defenses" quest in Arc Raiders has four steps and can be completed in any order:
- Destroy five Wasps.
- Destroy three Fireflies.
- Use one Arc Alloy to reinforce the raider structure on top of any Stacking Yard crane.
- Board up shuttered windows in the hotel.
Destroying Wasps and Fireflies is fairly straightforward: look for them in the sky and take them down. If you're shooting from a distance and you're not sure what enemy you're looking at, ping them to find out. If you can shoot from afar, an Anvil or Ferro are both great choices, and make sure you aim for their propellers. Even if you don't get the final shot, if they crash and explode, that still counts as destroying them, provided you were the last player to damage them.

You can get one from most Arc enemies, so the most sensible way would be to take out a Wasp or Firefly on your journey then loot the remains.
Stacking Yard has three enormous cranes, and you just need to climb the stairs to the very top. You'll find a small raider shelter — just some sheet metal hoisted up by four legs — and interacting with it will complete the objective.

The Hotel Panorama Azzurro is the specific point of interest you want to go to, and the window I boarded up to complete the objective was on the eastern side, facing south, on the second floor. Since you're specifically looking for shuttered windows, there may be more throughout the hotel, but the location pictured above is where you'll want to head.
Once all objectives are complete, return to Apollo to reap the rewards.
