The game design is very lazy and only the bare minimum was tried to create a game. There are 12 “levels”, which are all exactly the same except for a sprite swap of the background and different HP values for the enemies. There is exactly 1 music track stuck on repeat, which sounds like a free track from YouTube’s “Happy mobile game jingle collection #3”. Do you like the music in the trailer? Have fun listening to that repeating EVERY single time you start a level, which is basically every 30 seconds.

This is quite an addictive incremental game where you get to annihilate armies of unique mutant crops. The core loop of slicing, earning, and upgrading is satisfying, especially as you dive into the deep talent tree to research powerful fruit mutations. Slice the Crops is a very short, but very fun and very cute game. Progression seemed stable until a point where timer became infinite even with low power, which made it a little less interesting. The sound and feel is very satisfying.
