Sony has released a blog post explaining why the PlayStation 5 is the best system to play Grand Theft Auto 6, thanks to hardware that Microsoft's Xbox Series X/S lacks.

Rockstar has made the utterly baffling decision to only launch Grand Theft Auto 6 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. While it makes sense that the game won't be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2, it's shocking that it's not coming to PC at launch, and has no release window. This leaves PC players with the option of purchasing one of the increasingly more expensive consoles, or waiting it out.

The pre-order details for Grand Theft Auto 6 have officially been revealed by Rockstar and Take-Two, along with a glut of information about the game's DLC. Sony is jumping on the bandwagon with a PlayStation Blog post outlining why fans should buy Grand Theft Auto 6 on PlayStation 5, and it involves a compelling argument for leaving the Xbox Series X/S behind.

Grand Theft Auto 6 Is Better On PS5 Thanks To The DualSense

The crux of the argument for Grand Theft Auto 6 being better on PlayStation 5 is the DualSense controller, which drastically improves the gameplay experience through its tactile feedback.

While the Xbox Series X/S' controller is just a standard piece of hardware that functions like any other, the DualSense has several features that set it apart. The haptic feedback affects the player's hands, changing to match the surface they're touching. At the same time, the adaptive triggers lock into place, so pulling a shoulder button actually feels like pulling a trigger.

The main crux of the argument for Grand Theft Auto 6 being better on PlayStation 5 is due to the DualSense controller, which drastically improves the gameplay experience, thanks to the tactile feedback it gives players.

If any game could sell Sony's incredibly expensive advanced system, it's an improved version of Grand Theft Auto 6, one with better graphics. Maybe Rockstar is waiting for the next gameplay trailer to truly show off the game's visuals?
