The January 2026 Xbox Game Pass titles have been revealed, and the year is kicking off strong, with Star Wars Outlaws leading the pack as the most significant new addition to the service.

2025 was a rough year for Game Pass and the Xbox brand as a whole, with Microsoft jacking up the service's price without warning. It didn't help that Microsoft also canceled several high-profile games and shuttered multiple studios, which could have produced a ton of exciting content for Game Pass.

Xbox Game Pass is known for being a good bang for your buck deal, and it turns out some games lose up to 80% of profits when on Game Pass.

The official Xbox website has announced the first wave of titles coming to Xbox and PC Game Pass in 2026, and it has quite a few bangers. The most notable addition is Star Wars Outlaws, the flawed but fun open-world title set in the Star Wars universe.

January 2026 is stacked, and while Star Wars Outlaws is a huge get, the appearance of the original Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster and Resident Evil Village shouldn't be overlooked, especially with Resident Evil Requiem out in February.

The big question is whether Xbox Game Pass can maintain its momentum going into 2026, given that Microsoft seems hell-bent on destroying its video game brand. Hopefully, this fantastic January Game Pass line-up is a sign of better things to come.
