In Subnautica 2, you'll need to make use of the surrounding materials in order to progress through the waters. With no map in hand, it can be hard to navigate these teeming waters and find what you need. Never fear, as Polygon's guides team is here to help you with what you need.

We've crafted our own Subnautica 2 interactive map to help you map out the materials. While it may seem bizarre to use, as you have no map of your own to compare it with, you can use landmarks in-game to figure out your location, so you can be pointed towards farming sites for resources like copper, necrolei cysts, and lithium.
