Summer Game Fest 2026 Guide: A Complete Schedule Of Every June Gaming Showcase

It’s the beginning of June which means Summer Game Fest is officially kicking off. The week-long festival of gaming was engineered by Game Awards host Geoff Keighley to take E3’s spot after the ESA failed to get its act together coming out of the pandemic and let gaming’s once-iconic annual trade show fall apart. Good thing Summer Game Fest is here to fill the void. While Keighley’s main showcase is a one-day event, the week-long extravaganza is anchored this year by big PlayStation and Xbox showcases, and a dozen smaller game reveal events in between. Here’s the schedule for everything happening this week.

The Mix Summer Game Showcase – June 1

This one already happened. The livestream aired at 12:00 p.m. ET and showed off over 60 neat-looking indie games. It was a sprawling two-hour event. You can re-watch the whole thing here.

Black Voices In Gaming – June 2

This event highlights Black creators and developers and the cool stuff they’re working on. It streams live starting at 3:00 p.m. ET.

PlayStation State of Play – June 2

This is Sony’s first big summer showcase in a minute. It kicks off at 5:00 p.m. ET and people are expecting some big games to get announced this time around.

Shacknews Indie Showcase – June 3

The Shacknews showcase promises “dozens of titles, new announcements, updates, version 1.0s, and so much more” and airs at 5:30 p.m. ET, June 3 on YouTube.

Latin American Games Showcase – June 4

The Latin American Games Showcase will feature 80 games from 12 countries across the continent and go live at 5:00 p.m. ET on June 4.

Women-Led Games Showcase – June 4

Celebrating games and studios built by the women shaping our industry, the Women-Led Games Showcase goes live at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday, June 4.

Access-Ability Summer Showcase – June 5

Hosted by Laura Kate Dale, the Access-Ability Summer showcase focuses on games made by developers with disabilities or that feature unique accessibility options. It starts at 11:00 a.m. ET on Friday, June 5.

Summer Game Fest 2026 – June 5

The big one! Keighley’s events tend to run around two hours and incorporate everything from the biggest world premiere trailers to celebrity cameos, bits with the Muppets, and ads for lots of anime gacha games. The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. ET on Friday and stream on literally everything.

Day of the Devs – June 5

Day of the Devs, put on by Double Fine and company, features high-quality indie games from developers with unique ideas and personal stories that drive their work. The show will air directly after the Summer Game Fest main event at 7:00 p.m. ET on Friday.

Southeast Asian Games Showcase – June 6

The Southeast Asian Games Showcase will feature submissions from across the region and kick off at 11:00 a.m. ET on YouTube on Saturday.

Wholesome Direct – June 6

The Wholesome Direct focuses on games with cozy vibes and twee aesthetics. Hopeful themes and friendly faces abound. It will stream live on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. ET.

Story-Rich Showcase – June 6

Pay special attention to this one. The focus will be on narrative-rich games, and it’s led by Fellow Traveler, an indie label with an eye for some of the very best interactive art out there. It streams Saturday at 1:00 p.m. ET.

Green Games Showcase – June 6

The Green Games Showcase is organized by the non-profit PlanetPlay to promote games with environmental themes. It will air on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET.

Gayming Pride Parade – June 6

The Gayming Pride Parade will be the first queer/LGBTQ+ stream as part of Summer Game Fest and feature content creator Milady Confetti as its host. The event begins at 3:00 p.m. ET on Saturday and will be celebrating LGBTQ+ games and voices.

Frosty Games Showcase – June 6

The Frosty Games Fest highlights upcoming projects and creators from across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. It airs Saturday at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Xbox Games Showcase – June 7

Xbox has a lot to prove as it tries to win back fans and deliver on its most impressive 12-month slate of games this console generation. We’ll find out if it can at least deliver a good showcase on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET, and don’t forget to stick around for the Gears of War: E-Day Direct airing immediately after.

PC Gaming Showcase – June 7

The PC Gaming Show is lowkey my favorite of the bunch. It always has unexpected reveals and neat conversations with the developers. The event is hosted by Sean “Day[9]” Plott and airs on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Deutsche Indie Showcase – June 7

Another regional show, the Deutsche Indie Showcase focuses on exciting indie studios and games coming out of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. It will take place on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. ET.

India Games Showcase – June 8

Last but not least, the India Games Showcase will focus on projects coming out of India. Making its Summer Game Fest debut, the event will feature 40 games and go live on Monday at 1:00 p.m. ET to bring the week-long festivities to a close.
