The Super Monkey Ball franchise has seen a lot of interesting stages and crossovers over the years, but arguably none as weird as a set of three levels themed around a Japanese model's chest in Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz. Previously thought to be lost forever, dedicated fans have finally discovered a process in which the cleavage-filled stages could be brought back into the game.

Shockingly, these bosomy levels aren't the work of a player's custom design — they are actual, official levels released in Japan as a limited-time bonus for players who bought some of the first copies of Banana Splitz. The levels are specifically all centered around one model, Yukie Kawamura, even turning her chest into 3D obstacles. The levels were unlocked by a special code included with the game, but these have since expired, which proved to be a major hurdle in players' quest to recover the busty stages that seemed lost to time.

A video from GVG broke down how the levels were finally unearthed, as well as showing full gameplay of every boob level. As it turns out, the DLC existed in every copy of the game, regardless of region, and simply needed to be unlocked. To do so, players need to have a homebrew PS Vita, download a few files, and then add them into the game using the Repatch plugin — the trickiest part of the whole thing for anyone who wants to play the levels is probably getting your hands on a PS Vita in 2026.

Other than the absolute absurdity that comes from rolling a monkey over boob ramps, perhaps the funniest thing about these levels is the fact that they're actually quite difficult. GVG describes them as both low quality and abstract, and that it's actually easier to complete each of the three levels by breaking them rather than going about them properly. Apparently, braving these boobs is for Super Monkey Ball pros only.
