Covering the video games industry since 2017, with experience in news, articles, lists, and reviews (and I blame The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for that).
If you are a fan of RPGs and want a third-person version: Tayná Garcia is a Brazilian journalist (but you can call her Tay) who ended up working with video games after finishing Zelda: Majora's Mask when she was a kid. With more than eight years of experience in the segment, she has been an assistant editor at Jovem Nerd in the past and is currently a contributor at DualShockers and a writer for gaming magazines for Editora Europa. Oh, and she may like Hideo Kojima a bit too much.
If you are as big a fan of shooters as I am, the kind who lurks through the deepest Steam curators in search of underrated gems, you are probably already smiling just at the title of this news!
After nearly five years of waiting, the atmospheric shooter INDUSTRIA is finally getting its long-awaited sequel.
A Surprise Arrival from East Berlin
The folks behind Bleakmill Studio have just taken to social media to announce that INDUSTRIA 2, the follow-up to their 2021 cult title, will be released much sooner than anyone anticipated. In fact, it is literally coming out next week, on April 15.
According to their announcement post on X (formerly Twitter), the project has been in development for three years, crafted by a lean team of just eight developers scattered across the globe. “Three long years of punching above our weight with a team of 8 devs scattered around the globe culminate in something we're super proud of," reads the post.

Alongside the release date reveal, a brand-new trailer for the game was also shared, showcasing more gameplay sequences (featuring some pretty creepy enemies, by the way) that you can check out right below:
In case you need a refresher, INDUSTRIA is a first-person shooter IP that debuted in 2021. Heavily inspired by Half-Life and steampunk aesthetics, the first game was set in a chaotic 1980s East Berlin where artificial intelligence had spiraled completely out of control (shockingly, I’m not talking about our current reality).
Now, jumping back to the present, INDUSTRIA 2 is the direct sequel that promises to forge its own path. It leans further into biomechanical horror and a more unique identity that moves away from its Half-Life roots, aiming to deliver a more modern and polished single-player experience.
INDUSTRIA 2 will be released much sooner than anyone anticipated. In fact, it is literally coming out next week, on April 15.
Set years after the events of the original game, the new chapter finds Nora trapped in a parallel dimension, far from home. And her goal is to return to 1989 East Berlin, but she must first face “a chain of unforeseen consequences that pull her back into the pulsating heart of the artificial intelligence ATLAS.” Within that context, the players will also find out that Nora has a deeper connection to that uncontrollable AI, among other mysteries that I’m honestly dying to find out.
Luckily for me (and you, too), we won’t have to wait much longer for that! INDUSTRIA 2 launches on April 15, 2026, for PC. You can already wishlist the title via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GOG.
