The 10 most expensive League of Legends cards in Riftbound Vendetta

Riftbound’s newest set has $300 Nasus and $200 Ambessa cards

Its third set of 2026 — and fourth overall — is Vendetta. It’s a slightly smaller set, but still packs some iconic League of Legends Champions and Runeterra residents. Riot says the latest set is all about rivalry, and while that’s a nice theming for settling some scores, there’s also fresh mechanics to explore. Flow allows for cards to be played from the trash, Burn sends cards to the trash, and Unit Gear is a new card type that blends units and gear. One that comes up a lot in this very list is Empower. Think of these as buffs your cards gain for a cost.

Ahead of launch, we’ve put together a list of the set’s most expensive cards according to TCGplayer data thus far. It’s worth noting that these prices will invariably fluctuate after launch, but expect these to remain some of the most prominent chase cards that’ll fetch some steep prices.

10 Kai'Sa - Survivor

Kai’Sa is a popular League of Legends Champion for many reasons, like her starring role in pop group K/DA and the fact she’s got an awesome suit and — perhaps more importantly — is fun to play in League. This four-cost reprint of her Origins card keeps her four might and the accelerate keyword.

Just as before, when she conquers, you can draw a card, but this new Crystal Rose alternative art version is selling for around $120 thanks to its general rarity and stunning art.

9 Jayce - Man of Progress

Reprinted for the first time since Spiritforged, Jayce - Man of Progress has an overnumbered version in this set that’s going for $124. (Overnumbered cards are essentially new, rare, alternative art treatments that don’t conform to the standard numbering conventions of other cards in a set.)

As with the prior version of the card, when you play Jayce, he can sacrifice a friendly piece of gear to play a piece of gear that costs less than 7 from your hand. Not bad from League’s 100th Champion.

8 Vi - Destructive

Another reprint, this time from Origins, this overnumbered version of Vi - Destructive is worth around $130 at the time of writing.

She’ll still cost 2 Energy and 1 Power, but you can recycle from the trash to raise her Might from 3. She’s also likely to be popular because of her starring role in Arcane, and while her counterpart Jinx does get a reprint in this set, she doesn’t make the list because we don’t have a value for her yet.

7 Viktor - Innovator

Reprinted from Origins, Viktor had his own Champion deck in that set, and now he’s back with a new look.

Not a cheap card, this alternative art version of Viktor - Innovator is equal to Vi at $130, and yet functionally the same as versions that are going for just cents right now. Honestly, it’s pretty cool that he’s gone from his more human-like appearance to being almost entirely a machine in the space of a year.

6 Ambessa - Matriarch of War

Okay, now we’re getting to the good stuff. Ambessa - Matriarch of War is a new card for the Vendetta set that’s currently at around $150.

This overnumbered version looks awesome, and she can use her ability to ready a unit to roll into battle. Considering she was the first canonically dead League of Legends Champion, she’s looking pretty strong here.

5 Kayle - Justified

This $160, overnumbered version of Kayle - Justified looks awesome, even with the sheer volume of text on there (honestly, it reads closer to a Yu-Gi-Oh! card).

Kayle can be empowered up to three times, gaining two Might as she goes. Once she hits that third empower, she gains Deflect 3 and Ganking, meaning opponents will want to stop her before she builds momentum and jumps around the board.

4 Ambessa - Respected and Feared

Two Ambessas, in this economy? Another overnumbered variant, Ambessa - Respected and Feared shows Ambessa ready to fight — and it plays like it, too.

She can become empowered to gain Assault 2, and can instantly cull a weaker foe when she attacks, too. Again, this is a new card for Vendetta, and it will set you back around $200. She really is as ruthless as she is on the Rift.

3 Akali - Rogue Assassin

We’ve known Akali was part of Vendetta when the set was revealed, but now we know how she plays, too.

This (say it with me) overnumbered version Akali - Rogue Assassin shows the sneaky Champion dodging shuriken and can be exhausted to move a friendly unit back to base to be readied. Akali breaks the $200 mark, reaching $220 right now. She’s also bound to be popular given she’s a badass ninja that’s also a key part of K/DA.

2 Ahri - Inquisitive

Back from Origins, this Ahri - Inquisitive reprint gets the Crystal Rose treatment from League of Legends’ (excellent) mobile version Wild Rift.

While the original version goes for only a couple of bucks, this one will set you back closer to $300 — although that price is dropping. As with Akali, expect some of the value to come from the fact that she’s well-known outside of League.

1 Nasus - Curator of the Sands

Nasus was always a favorite of mine in Legends of Runeterra, so I’m glad to see him finally join the Riftbound roster.

Nasus - Curator of the Sands the only card in the set to reach $300, and can ready two runes when exhausted after playing a unit, gear, or activated ability that cost 7 or more — that ought to keep the pressure on your opponents just like his infinite-stacking Siphoning Strike in League.
