Save yourself a few bucks during the RAMpocalypse
Graphic: Will Joel/Polygon | Source images: AmazonIf you're looking for cheap RAM in the Prime Day sales, you're definitely not the only one. Since early 2025, there has been a global RAM crisis happening. Memory has skyrocketed in price thanks to a supply shortage, because so much of it is being used for AI data centers. As a result, anyone looking to upgrade their gaming PC or build one from scratch has required much more outlay to be able to afford it.
While these Prime Day RAM deals aren't quite at pre-crisis prices, there are some decent savings to be made at Amazon, along with some other retailers also partaking in the sales. Here are the cheapest memory deals we can find.
1 Patriot Viper Venom 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5
Image: Patriot/NeweggGetting your hands on two sticks of 16GB RAM is a tricky endeavor in the RAMpocalypse, because as you can see from this deal, it's incredibly expensive, especially for DDR5. It hurts to think about how this was half the price just two years ago. Prices are highly unlikely to ever drop back down to those levels though, so on Newegg, (with code FTTF359, which should be auto-applied once added to your basket), the Patriot Viper Venom 32GB at $349.99 (which is $45 off) is one of the cheapest you'll find for DDR5 during Prime Day.
2 Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5
Image: Corsair/Best BuyCorsair is one of the most reputable brands when it comes to computer hardware, and the Corsair Vengeance series of RAM is one of the most reliable. However, you're paying for it: the Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 is $399.99 at Best Buy. This is $77 cheaper than its listing price, though, and $14 cheaper than the same product on Amazon.
3 PNY Performance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4
Image: PNY/AmazonIf you're content with the slightly slower DDR4, look no further than the PNY Performance 32GB offering on Amazon. This Prime Day deal takes the listing down from $299.99 to $214.99, saving you $85.
4 Crucial Pro Kit 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4
Image: Crucial/Best BuyCrucial is another fairly prestigious brand when it comes to RAM, so if you want another option for 32GB of DDR4, check out the Crucial Pro Kit 32GB listing on Best Buy. This is the exact same price as the PNY Performance option on Amazon, but you save over $100 here.
5 Team Group T-Force Vulcan 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5
Image: Team Group/NeweggLooking for two sticks of 8GB RAM instead, but keen to go for the fastest and latest version with DDR5? The T-Force Vulcan 16GB is what you need, which goes down to $199.99 with promo code FTTF4657 (which should be auto-applied at checkout) at Newegg.
6 PNY Performance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4
Image: PNY/AmazonAre you noticing a pattern? Over on Amazon, the Prime Day deals for PNY Performance memory are some of the cheapest, and you can get two sticks of 8GB DDR4 for $119.99, which is $30 off.
7 G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4
Image: G.Skill/AmazonAlternatively, if you want a different brand, albeit with a slower speed (this one is only 2400 MHz, compared to the PNY Performance's 3200 MHz), Amazon also has the G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB at $109.99. This is $40 cheaper than its retail price, and $10 cheaper than the PNY Performance option.
The best Prime Day board game deals we've seen in years are still available
Whether you want a good entry point into the hobby or just a fun party game, there are options for everyone.
