Being Brazilian myself, I cannot hide how incredibly happy I am to see Orbitals launching with support for so many different languages, which naturally means that the game will be accessible to a much broader audience! It is always refreshing when an ambitious title ensures that players worldwide can experience the story natively. Besides, the developers emphasized that each voice ensemble has been carefully selected to bring together an authentic and immersive narrative experience across the board, so that’s another win right there.

On top of that, the gorgeous visuals instantly catch your attention for a very specific reason: the beautiful similarity to the aesthetic of the classic Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, the iconic anime companion to Daft Punk’s iconic “Discovery” album back in the 2000s.

It is a warm, retro-futuristic vibe that feels like a cozy blanket for your eyeballs, and honestly, it is everything I have personally needed since that animation graced our screens back in the early 2000s. According to them, the main goal was to faithfully recreate the nostalgic atmosphere of that era's animations, breathing life into a completely fresh and unique universe. They wanted to tap into a very specific type of artistic expression, one where you can almost feel the texture of the frames – and judging by its trailers, it’s working!
