Preorders for Magic: The Gathering's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles set are back in stock at Amazon. As of January 4, Amazon is taking preorders for six TMNT products ahead of the crossover set's March 6 launch. The collectible TMNT Pizza Bundle is back in stock for $100, and TMNT Draft Night is available for $130. These two are likely to sell out soon, as both have been hard to find since preorders opened last October. When the Pizza Bundle sells out, you can still preorder the regular TMNT Bundle for $70.

Amazon is also offering a steep discount on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Booster Box that drops the price to $160 (was $209.70). Fans of the TCG's Commander format can preorder the popular TMNT Turtle Power Commander Deck for $70. The product that offers arguably the best value is Turtle Team-Up for $50. The new cooperative format for 2-4 players includes four 60-card Turtle decks, a 39-card deck featuring Shredder and other villains, and four Play Booster Packs. You're getting a total of 335 cards for $50. Four Play Booster Packs on their own would cost you $28, so you're only paying $22 for the rest.

TMNT Magic: The Gathering Set

TMNT Play Booster Box

$160 (was $209.70)

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Play Booster Box comes with 30 packs containing 14 cards and a non-foil double-sided token. Here's the breakdown of card types in each Play Booster:

  • 7 Common
  • 2 Uncommon
  • 1 Rare or Mythic Rare
  • 1 Legendary Turtle (any rarity)
  • 1 Wildcard (any rarity)
  • 1 Traditional Foil (any rarity)
  • 1 Land

You're guaranteed to get at least one Rare card per pack, but you can get up to five, depending on how you do with pulls on the Legendary Turtle, Wildcard, Traditional Foil, etc.

Additionally, Wizards of the Coast says one out of every 28 Play Boosters, on average, include a Source Material non-foil card. There are 20 Source Material cards total, and each one replaces a Common when pulled.

TMNT: Turtle Team-Up Co-op Game

$50

Turtle Team-Up is a new cooperative format for 2-4 players. Each of the four 60-card player decks is led by Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, or Michelangelo. The 39-card enemy deck features villains like Shredder and Rocksteady. Turtle Team-Up comes with individual storage boxes for the player decks as well as punch-out damage counter sheets and a tutorial booklet.

As mentioned, Turtle Team-Up also comes with four Play Booster Packs with 14 cards each. After you learn the basics of the co-op format, you can modify your decks with cards pulled from the Play Boosters. All told, this $50 box features 335 cards.

  • 4 Turtle Decks (60 cards each)
  • 1 Enemy Deck (39 cards, exclusive)
  • 4 Play Booster Packs (14 cards each)
  • 4 Deck Boxes
  • 6 Punch-Out Counter Sheets
  • 1 Tutorial Booklet

We haven't see the TMNT Tins listed on Amazon, and Best Buy hasn't opened preorders yet. If you order a TMNT Tin from Best Buy, you will receive one of the five variants at random. Amazon sometimes does random selection for TCG products like these, but other times the retailer lists each model individually. We'll update this story when the TMNT Tins are listed on Amazon.

TMNT Play Booster Pack

TMNT Sleeved Booster Packs retail for $7 and will be available to order from Best Buy on launch day.
