Tomb Raider: Sophie Turner Does Her Own Stunt In New BTS Lara Croft Pics

Earlier this year, Prime Video shared a first look at Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner as the new Lara Croft from the upcoming Tomb Raider series. Now, Turner has been spotted behind thescenes doing a stunt worthy of Lara herself.

The Daily Mail has published numerous photos of Turner in costume as Lara Croft while performing a parachute stunt for the show. For this particular scene, Turner was wearing full-body tactical gear that would have made it easier for a stunt person to fill in for her. Instead, she's there on set doing it herself.

During an interview in January, Turner noted that she underwent extensive physical training in order to believably portray the video game heroine previously played by Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander on the big screen. Turner also shared her pride at the way Lara will be characterized on the show.
