Treasure hunt is one of the seasonal activities you can enjoy in Forza Horizon 6. The idea is to search for a treasure chest somewhere on the map, and the only clue you have is a picture. You will have to put not only your memory but also your knowledge of the map into action to find the exact location and collect your prize.

To help you locate the treasure, we prepared this guide explaining where to find the "Welcome to Japan" treasure hunt box in Forza Horizon 6.

During the summer of the "Welcome to Japan" series, the treasure hunt takes place in the Ohtani region. The only clue we get is a picture of a treasure box near a temple. If you have done your homework and explored the game's map, you might have recognized the Kinkaku-ji temple in the picture. If you haven't, don't worry, here's where you can find it.

The path that takes you to the temple is an off-road trail in the south of Ohtani. The Kinkaku-ji temple is northeast of Mei's house and southwest of the Horizon Festival Site. Between these two locations, you'll see a trail that branches off the main road and heads north. Your goal is to go to the lake at the end of the trail.

As you get closer, you won't see the temple, but instead a road with yellow walls that leads into the garden where the temple is located. Follow the road around the lake behind the temple to find the box and drive into it with your car to receive 100,000 credits.
