Now that Resident Evil Requiem has finally released, players are diving into the best Resident Evil game for the modern era. This game is full of surprises, including the inclusion of a particular group at Raccoon City.

However, you'll notice that they're long gone, leaving behind various crates that you're able to unlock and pillage, using the supplies to enhance your combat overall.

To obtain the Case Closed trophy in Resident Evil Requiem, you need to read all files in the main story ... and there are a lot of files.

If you find all these crates in a single playthrough, you will earn the Crate Expectations trophy (and yes, that's absolutely a pun) and will be one step closer to the almighty coveted platinum.

Not to mention, these crates have some pretty nice surprises in them, so it's worth looking for, especially since there are only four. Thankfully, we know where to find all four of them.

As this is far later into the game than other collectibles, this article will contain some spoilers for the game's story and its happenings.

Where to Find All BSAA Crates

Crate 1

The first BSAA Crate you find among the decimated bodies of slain BSAA soldiers right as you leave Cedarbrook Apartments, technically during a cutscene, but you don't actually get to enter the crate until after the cutscene ends. Since it's already been opened, it actually won't count towards the trophy, but it's an important one due to the fact it's where you get the key for the other crates, as well as an idea of what to expect for loot in each crate.

The number and BSAA logo is blotched out with copious amounts of blood (honestly, what isn't covered in blood in this game?), but based on the other three you find, this is officially Crate 1.

This crate wasn't looted, either, so you're able to find a Med Injector that will definitely come in handy in this area.

Crate 2

BSAA Crate 2 is technically the only crate that you're actually required to open, since it has the bike you'll eventually ride into the center of the city (where you return to R.P.D. after all this time). It also has the repair kit for the signal receiver, which you'll need in order to blow up a barrier so you can even drive at all.

And since it's essential for the plot to progress, this one is in a spot that you will frequently visit: at the Central Camp in front of the Logistics Warehouse. You literally can't miss it, as it's right next to your tent.

Crate 3

Our third BSAA Crate is located at the far end of the city, well past the Gas Station. There's a ladder on a truck that you're able to climb up so that you can get some high ground. While you're walking on top of the cars, you'll notice a little area that is normally closed off from the road with police barriers, but you can jump into it since you're coming in from above. Jump down and turn around, and you'll see that the third BSAA Crate is sitting right there.

Just be ready when you open it: there's a surprise waiting for you on the inside, and it's not just the rifle ammo that you can pick up. In the same vein, don't expect a lot of rifle ammo; I only got four bullets.

Crate 4

The fourth and final crate is a lot more tucked away and easier to miss. After getting fuel from the gas station so you can turn on the various generators around the area, one of them (the one closest to central camp, the one with the crane that drops a big bridge-like structure so you're able to return to camp in the first place) has a relatively hidden passageway that takes you into different areas of the city. It's a ladder that leads into the subway system underground, so climb down it.

Follow the pathway until you come out on the other side, right by Cafe Oasis and the Applegate Hotel. Not only are there several other collectibles here that you need to hunt down and acquire, but the final crate is tucked into the far corner across from the hotel. Be warned, there are at least a handful of zombies guarding the place, so you're going to have to get through them in order to open the door.

When you open this crate, not only will you obtain the Crate Expectations trophy, but you'll also have access to unique rewards — plus, in this game, you drop items that you no longer have any use for, so the BSAA Crate Key should also be immediately removed from your inventory, giving you a little extra space in your attache case.

The reward in this crate is a beautiful Silver Scope for your rifle, and it's arguably ten times better than any of the scopes you would normally attach to your weapons. So slap that bad boy on and enjoy the ride to R.P.D.
