Where to Find and Use the Buried City Residential Master Key in ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders has a ton of places to find good loot; the best among them are the places locked behind doors. Finding these locked doors can be difficult, but the more difficult part will be finding the keys that open them.

Of the many Buried City keys, the Residential Master Key is a tough one to get hands on. Once you've got it, you'll need to get a move on to Buried City unless you managed to get it while already there.

Luckily, Buried City isn't the most dangerous map to visit, but you should always be careful. We'll cover getting prepped to leave, where to use the key, and what you might get from behind the locked door.

Where to Find the Buried City Residential Master Key

Naturally, you're probably curious how you actually find the Buried City Residential Master Key. Well, it's a bit tough to say, since ARC Raiders is a game where drops come down to RNG. Still, helpful websites like Metaforge allow users to vote and provide useful data, like what you can see in the image above.

It's a small sample size this time, but most players seem to have found the Residential Master Key in either a bag or a normal container. What's most interesting here, however, is that players also report the key has only been found at Blue Gate and the Buried City itself, so it's likely wise to try either of these two places as you're hunting.

For my money, I'd recommend searching in the Buried City, since that's the map where your key is used anyway. If you're quick, you can both find and use the key in one run this way. Residential areas are typically the highest key-yielding places in ARC Raiders, though other key rooms as well as more dangerous looting areas are also good bets.

At the Buried City, consider checking both the Grandioso Apartments and the Abandoned Highway Camp.

Prepare to Embark

If you're getting prepped to leave and not already topside, you may want to consider a few things before heading out. One of the big things you'll want to do is bring a looting augment, so you can carry all the things you're going to loot.

You could head out during a Night Raid, but that means you're more likely to run into danger. While you should make sure you have plenty of space for items you find, it's also important that you're able to extract successfully.

Where to Use the Buried City Residential Master Key

You'll need to head to Buried City and make your way to the Grandioso Apartments with the key in hand. You'll be looking to get into the larger of the two buildings and want to make your way to the very bottom floor.

If you're having a tough time, the images and information below should help you find it:

• When you approach the buildings, head for the bigger one
• Head inside and find the zipline
• Take the zipline down to the bottom floor
• You should find the door easily from here
• The weapons crate is on the other side of the couch

Once you've looted everything you can carry, you should probably head out. If you're willing to risk it, there are still plenty of other locations to visit nearby.

Buried City Residential Master Key Rewards

If you came more prepared than I did, you'll probably walk away with some more loot. My duo and I found quite a few items, though, but unfortunately, no blueprints.

Just like always, you can find plenty of loot in these places, like guns and various kinds of materials. This one actually had a few guns that we ended up leaving behind due to just not having the space for them with the items needed for the community event.

While you can always go and use what you gather to take on some harder ARCs like the Bastion, it may end with you losing everything you managed to gather. That's always a risk you take if you're chasing after the most important loot!
