Where to Find Corporal Brennan in Borderlands 4

Several additional bosses were added to Borderlands 4 as part of the Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned story expansion. While the story reaches its peak when you fight Captain Willis in the vault, there are plenty of other enemies to fight along the way.

One of the bosses you will fight during the Mad Ellie DLC is named Corporal Brennan. This Dahl soldier will try to put a stop to your plans, and he has a large mech unit to help him do just that.

Let's break down everything you need to know about Corporal Brennen in Borderlands 4, such as his location, drops, and tips to fight him.

Corporal Brennan Location

Corporal Brennan is first encountered during the main story of the Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned DLC in Borderlands 4. You will enter the boss fight shortly after meeting up with Ellie.

Of course, thanks to the Moxxi's Replay machines, you can repeatedly farm the bosses of the DLC. To return to Corporal Brennan, go to the eastern side of the Crooked Teeth section of the Whispering Glacier region.

You can quickly reach this location by going north of the Ellie's Garage fast travel point or by using the door at the Speakeasy to fast travel there. Don't worry, this boss is difficult to locate, like Bore-Tex or any of the bosses in the Stone Demon DLC.

Corporal Brennan Loot

Corporal Brennan has two legendary items as part of his dedicated loot pool. Unfortunately, he does not have any pearlescent items that we have been able to obtain.

Starting off with the Bismuth-Tipped Dagger, this throwing knife has the Bismuth ability. When you throw this dagger at an enemy, it will stick, causing them to take increased damage.

The increased damage is the same as whatever element the dagger is, so if it rolled with the incendiary element, enemies will take increased incendiary damage. This is great for characters who deal a lot of elemental damage.

The other legendary item is the Laser Cutter assault rifle. The special ability for this weapon is Bone Saw, which allows it to shoot lasers in quick bursts.

Each time you pull the trigger, the Laser Cutter will shoot a group of lasers that are quite powerful and can easily one-shot smaller enemies.

Tips for Fighting Corporal Brennan

Unlike other bosses, like the Stone Demon, Corporal Brennan doesn't have many attacks you will need to worry about. One of his main attacks is shooting electric orbs that are easily dodged. He can fire these in a line in front of him or in the surrounding area.

His second attack is a slam where he jumps into the air and hits the ground. When this happens, a shockwave will come out in front of him. The boss will also occasionally fire rockets, but they are easily avoided.

Corporal Brennan's most annoying attack is his charge. This is very difficult to avoid and deals a lot of damage. Luckily, there are plenty of enemies in the arena if you go down.

When fighting Corporal Brennan, you should bring a corrosive weapon and a shock weapon. The boss has a shield that is weak to shock damage, and his main health bar is armor, making him weak to corrosive damage as well.
