Fallout 76 is a survival game, and if you aren't used to those, it means that you need to collect various resources if you want any hope of keeping your character alive. It is a lot more than simply leveling up your character.

Fallout 76: Where to Find Snallygaster
Here's where you can find Snallygaster across Appalachia in Fallout 76.
Food and water are a necessity if you want to survive in the wasteland, and they can be fairly scarce, with little to be found no matter where you go. One way to get food is to hunt animals like Radhogs.
Let's break down everywhere you can find Radhogs in Fallout 76 and everything they drop.
All Radhog Locations in Fallout 76
Radhogs are not your typical animal in Fallout 76. This means that you won't find them wandering around the base map locations. Instead, you will need to venture out of West Virginia and head over to Ohio.
Burning Springs, nestled in the fields of Ohio on the western edge of the map, is the only area you can find Radhogs in Fallout 76. If you have not traveled to Ohio yet, you can do so by crossing the bridge in Point Pleasant, the location where you can find the Mothman statue.
Once you have made your way to Ohio, check the following areas for Radhogs:
|
Fort Steuben |
Around 5 Radhogs can spawn in the areas surrounding the fort. |
|
Albany |
4 Radhogs typically spawn in this city. |
|
Dino Peaks Mini Golf |
4 will typically spawn to the north and northeast of the mini golf course. |
|
Strouds Run State Park |
A few Radhogs will spawn in the northern part of the state park, near the Dow Lake Watershed. |
|
Tycoon Lake |
Several Radhogs can spawn to the west of the lake. |
|
Shade Hill Church |
Several Radhogs can spawn to the northwest of the church, with there being a good chance of an alpha spawning. |
|
The Chop Shop |
Several Radhogs may spawn to the northeast of the building with a good chance of an alpha spawning. |
Radhogs are rather dangerous creatures that will charge at you on sight. I recommend having good armor if you plan on tracking them down. Consider a strong Power Armor build to deal with them.
Radhogs come in two variants: standard and alpha. Alpha Radhogs are much more aggressive than their standard counterparts, often attacking more often and providing a buff when they scream.
This comes in stark contrast to other animals in Fallout 76, like the standard Radstag, which doesn't attack much and appears much more docile.

Notable Radhog Loot
Since Radhogs are fairly standard animals in Fallout 76, they will mostly drop meat and skin. Radhogs will typically drop Radhog Meat, Radhog Hide, and Acidic Radhog Intestines.
The meat can be cooked to give you additional bonuses. The meals you can make with Radhog Meat are Grilled Radhog Chops and Radhog Burnt Ends.
Grilled Radhog Chops will increase your endurance by three points for 15 minutes and grant you 1.80HP/second for 25 seconds. Radhog Burnt Ends, on the other hand, will give you 10% increased AP regeneration for 60 minutes and heal you for 10HP/second for 25 seconds.
