The Hakone Nanamagari touge race is just like the other touge races in Forza Horizon 6, but this one is slightly different because it features a ton of hairpin turns. However, as there are a lot of hairpins spread across the map, it's still difficult to find the race's starting point.

The Hakone Nanamagari touge race is also featured in the "Gazoo Racer" weekly challenge in the summer of the "Welcome to Japan" series. To complete the challenge, you'll need to win the race while driving the 2022 Toyota GR86. That's no mean feat, so we have a couple of tips for beating it.

Here's where you can find the Hakone Nanamagari touge race in Forza Horizon 6 and how to beat it.

In Forza Horizon 6, the Hakone Nanamagari touge race is in the southwest corner of the map, in the Nangan region. Specifically, it's just northwest of the Irokawa space center, at the top of that tight, windy section of road. Its exact location can be seen in the image above.

To complete the "Gazoo Racer" weekly challenge in the summer of the "Welcome to Japan" series, you must win the race in a B-class Toyota GR86, but that's actually quite difficult because your competitor has a car purpose built for touge racing. As such, we'd recommend these tips:

  • Don't be afraid to lower the difficulty! It doesn't matter what difficulty you complete this race on, as long as you win it.
  • If you don't want to make it too easy, spend some time tuning your car to have higher acceleration, braking, and handling, because those are the most important stats for touge racing. Just make sure it doesn't surpass B-class because that's the restriction here.
  • Don't be afraid to ram your competitor off the road. Sure, it's cheating, but you're not driving against a real person, so if you can send them tumbling off the side of the hill, you've got a surefire victory in the bag (just don't do this in Horizon Play!).

Upon winning the race, you'll earn 25,000 credits, and you'll be closer to earning the "Welcome to Japan" summer rewards: the 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z Edition and the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR.
