A few days ago, several Reddit users noted a strange occurrence when trying to leave reviews for both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas on Steam.

When trying to post the review, a message would pop up saying, "You must wait until this product has been released before writing a review for it."

Reddit user Homer4a10 posted the pop-up in the Fallout subreddit and a few other players mentioned seeing the same pop-up, which has since disappeared as of this writing.

Other users have mentioned seeing a similar issue with Batman: Arkham City and a few other games, but many fans suggest this could be a sign towards an upcoming shadow drop of both Fallout 3 Remastered and Fallout: New Vegas Remastered, as many people saw similar issues with The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion before its remaster launched.

When trying to post the review, a message would pop up saying, "You must wait until this product has been released before writing a review for it."

Many fans have speculated that Virtuos, the developer that oversaw The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, may be working on remastering both Fallout 3 and New Vegas after years of rumors of the two being remastered circulated the internet alongside Oblivion.

If these occurrences, speculations, and rumors turn out to be connected and true, Bethesda could potentially shadow drop either one or both of the remastered Fallouts in February to coincide with the finale of Fallout Season 2 and the mysterious countdown timer found on the show's Amazon Studios homepage.
