007 First Light: How to Break the Glass to the Utility Sector

When you enter the Robotics department in the Wave of the Future Chapter of 007 First Light, your objective is to destroy the glass to the utility sector. The reason you have to break the glass, rather than use the main door, is because you don't have a high enough clearance to enter.

Breaking the utility sector glass is trickier than it may sound, since using your fists or handgun won't work. Instead, you have to be clever here and find a non-conventional way to destroy the glass.

If you are having trouble getting into the utility sector, you are not alone as this took me almost an hour to figure out. Read further to learn how to break the glass to the utility sector in 007 First Light.

How to Break the Utility Sector Glass in 007 First Light

After entering the Robotics department of the Wave of the Future Chapter in 007, Isola will communicate with you through your earpiece and mention that you need to get into the utility sector. However, she doesn't give you any information on how to do this, and leaves it up to you to figure out.

If you go around the Robotics department and speak to all the Web Staff, you'll actually learn some clues on how to break the glass to the utility department.

The most important hint comes from the lady engineer, who mentions that the robots are being trained to mimic the movements of humans. The lady engineer is located next to the large platform that has a lady doing yoga on it, right next to the main entrance to the utility sector.

If you take a second to observe the lady doing yoga, and the robot that is directly across from her (near the utility sector glass), you will notice that the robot is also doing yoga. In other words, this robot is mimicking the lady's movements. So, theoretically, the robot could be used to punch the glass through human movement.

That's exactly how you should go about breaking the glass to the utility sector in 007 First Light. To do this, you want to distract the Web Staff lady, by hitting her with a Dart from your phone. This will make her feel sick, forcing her to walk to a different location.

Once the Web Staff lady is out of the way, approach the computer on the table and interact with it to activate the temperature controls. Doing this will cause the temperature of the platform to rise, forcing the yoga lady to walk off.

Once the yoga lady is gone, get on the platform and begin walking toward the utility sector glass. The robot will follow your movements.

Once you walk far enough where the robot is near the glass, press the square button to have Bond punch the air, which will cause the robot to punch the glass, completely shattering it. After destroying the glass, make sure to get off the platform quickly so the Web Staff don't notice that you caused the mess.
