Not having a console or a computer is no excuse for not enjoying these masterpieces of the independent scene.

While there are some maps that feel rather bland, giving you the opportunity to paint your character one color and hide, others challenge your creativity, allowing you to paint yourself into the background with some immense detail.

If you are a creative individual who is looking for a challenge, you should try out some of these crazy maps that have been added to Meccha Chameleon.

10 Gryffindor Commons

Paintings, Wallpaper, and More

Meccha Chameleon Creative Maps Gryffindor Commons

If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you should check out the Gryffindor Commons map, as it is truly magical in the ways you can blend into your environment. While it is a bit on the small side, it offers some unique ways to hide.

The wallpaper is similar to that of the popular Art Gallery map, where those who are creative can blend into the wall perfectly, leaving no trace of themselves. Along with that, the lighting can be used to your advantage, allowing you to hide within the shadows of chairs and tables.

Finally, the paintings stand out as being more pixelated, making it easy to draw yourself into them and avoid detection.

9 Kokiri Forest

Ocarina of Time

Meccha Chameleon Creative Maps Kokiri Forest

I am a big fan of The Legend of Zelda, and the Kokiri Forest map scratches that itch of nostalgia that I crave, but it is also a map where you can get very creative with your hiding spots. The map's overall design is easy to blend into, requiring only a bit of creativity to find a hiding spot.

There are trees, rocks, plants, fences, and more to paint yourself into, but my favorite area is the water. If you are good enough, I have seen some people paint themselves as fish on this map, avoiding detection in plain sight.

A little bit of ingenuity goes a long way on the Kokiri Forest map, allowing you to blend in and never get caught.

8 Nuketown

You Know It Well

Meccha Chameleon Creative Maps Nuketown

I've mentioned before that someone made Terminal from Modern Warfare 2 in Meccha Chameleon. Well, now someone has made possibly the most well-known map in Call of Duty history: Nuketown.

This small map allows you to get very creative. I have seen people blend into the bushes, and I have seen people become signs on trucks. One of the best spots I have seen is hiding in the fireplace, using the fire to hide.

There are also some spots that you can sneak into, and others that aren't so sneaky, but work out in your favor. Untethered skyboxes mean you can climb the map barrier to an impressive height and stay out of view.

The Village is a map that seems very overwhelming at first. There are tons of textures, items, buildings, and more. It is undeniably a map that takes a second to take it all in.

There are tons of possibilities on this map, and if you are creative, you will figure out every single one of them.

6 The Joy of Painting

Bob Ross

Bob Ross was a very artistic individual, and since Meccha Chameleon is an artistic game, it only makes sense to see Bob's paintings in the game. The Joy of Painting is a map that allows you to unleash your creativity by hiding within expertly recreated works of Bob Ross'.

The hunter must search through several of Bob Ross' paintings to find the chameleons, and if you are clever enough, you can hide within these landscapes in brilliant ways.

There are few things maps that will get you in a creative mood more than one focused around art, so you might want to give this map a try the next time you are in the mood to paint some happy little trees.

The map has several rooms full of nostalgic items from Mario 64, giving you plenty of locations to hide, and numerous ways to blend into your surroundings. You can jump into a cannon and pretend to be a cannonball, or you can paint yourself inside the mouth of a piranha plant.

4 Strike Zone Bowling Alley

Devious

Meccha Chameleon Creative Maps Bowling Alley

If you want to be devious, look no further than the Strike Zone Bowling Alley map. This map has great lighting, numerous items, and even replicas of chameleons posted around the map.

The first time I played this map, my friends and I noticed that some of the balls, pins, and even background items were chameleons. It makes seeking a bit more exhausting, but it also means that you can get very creative as a chameleon.

You can paint yourself as a bowling ball, blend in, and then move to a new location, and the hunter probably wouldn't notice. You can sit on a chair and blend in, or you can paint yourself into one of the arcade cabinets. The possibilities are definitely there.

This map is great for those who can get creative, as you can hide in simplistic ways, such as jumping up into umbrellas, but you can also get wildly creative by painting yourself into the various tables and booths.

Each booth offers different items to use to your advantage, and the map's lighting can be used to your advantage, allowing you to paint yourself into shadows or mix the light into your overall hiding spot.

One of the most popular maps in Meccha Chameleon is the Art Gallery map. After it was added to the game, it exploded in popularity, and for good reason.
