The "Dust on the Wires" quest in Arc Raiders takes place entirely on Spaceport, because there are six total objectives you must complete, all in a single round. It all starts by visiting a field depot, specifically one on the eastern side of the map, followed by a visit to a raider tower near Maintenance Hangar. As usual for Arc Raiders quests, it's all about finding specific locations to interact with objects there, so you don't need to get involved with any combat.

Here are all the locations you need to visit to complete the "Dust on the Wires" quest in Arc Raiders.

'Dust on the Wires' quest steps in Arc Raiders

There are six quest steps in total, all of which must be completed in one round for "Dust on the Wires":

Visit any field depot on the eastern side of the Spaceport.
Use the field radio to transmit the scout group's last log to Shani.
Interact with the terminal in the old raider tower north of the Maintenance Hangar.
Find traces of the scout patrol near the Maintenance Hangar.
Search the remains left by the scouts.
Deliver the scout patrol note to Shani.

Where to find a field depot on the eastern side of Spaceport

No doubt you've visited countless field depots in your time with Arc Raiders, but this quest requires finding one on the eastern side of Spaceport. The map above shows all three field depots you can visit to complete this quest. We'd recommend the southernmost one, as that's right next to the location you must visit for the next objective.

How to use the field radio to transmit the scout group's last log

In the field depot, no matter which one you pick, you should see a glowing yellow terminal at one end. Just interact with it to transmit the scout group's last log.

Where to find the old raider tower north of the Maintenance Hangar

Next up, head to the Maintenance Hangar in the southern part of the map, between Staff Parking and Fuel Storage. Northwest of here, you'll see a raider tower just up the path. Climb the stairs and interact with the terminal here to complete this objective.

Where to find traces of the scout patrol near Maintenance Hangar

If you follow the path around the side of the Maintenance Hangar, you'll encounter some upturned trolleys on the slope. As you approach, you'll receive the prompt to transmit your location. Do this, then you'll be told to search the remains left by the scouts, which can be done by moving forward a few paces and interacting with the trolley with a blue tarpaulin and barrel inside.

This will drop the scout patrol note, which you'll need to take to Shani, so if you have one, put it in your safe pocket. If not, protect it with your life and get to the nearest extraction.
