A hotel in Italy is currently dealing with a massive influx of reviews from Arc Raiders players, who seem endlessly amused by the fact that the hotel (called Hotel Stella Montis) shares a name with an in-game location.

In Arc Raiders — the popular free-to-play extraction shooter from The Finals developer Embark Studios — Stella Montis is a research facility tucked away inside a snowy mountainside. In real life, it's a four-star hotel in northern Italy, and while it's neither a secret research facility nor the last bastion of human ambition, it does share some similarities with its in-game counterpart. Like Arc Raiders' Stella Montis, which is located in a snowy mountain range north of the Rust Belt, Hotel Stella Montis is located in the Dolomites, a snowy mountain range in northern Italy, popular for winter sports.

The similarities end there, but that hasn't stopped players from leaving reviews that imply the hotel and the Arc Raiders location are one and the same.

"Got a tempest blueprint from the cafeteria, found a few vulcanos and il toros at medical and played bastion ball in the loading bay (watch out for rats though). 10/10, would recommend," wrote one user who left a 5-star review and tagged the hotel as "high-tech" and "romantic."

Of course, not all reviews have been positive.

"Terrible experience," wrote another player, who gave the hotel only 3 out of 5 stars. "Tried to leave after a quiz run of loots and was extract camped by some griefers."

Still, the influx of reviews from Arc Raiders players has proven to be a net positive for the hotel. When the Arc Raiders-related reviews were first posted to the /r/ArcRaiders subreddit, the hotel had a 4.4-star rating. As more reviews have poured in over the last two days, the rating has gone up, and it's currently sitting at 4.6 stars. But despite the positive review score, the plethora of references to features of the in-game Stella Montis may leave some potential guests scratching their heads, as it's very likely they'll take any mention of "rats" literally.

Still, it's hard not to find the whole situation hilarious.

"Great place," one reviewer wrote. "But I do recommend travel[ing] solo for this hotel. Any group bigger than 2 has [a] very high chance of meeting rats in the lobby. Hotel has a medical section which is a hot spot for dead bodies. Also while you are here please try to be friendly to other guests."

Hotel Stella Montis has yet to comment publicly on the influx of Arc Raiders-related reviews, but if you want to check out the place for yourself, you'll need to cough up some cash — per the hotel's Google listing, a stay at Hotel Stella Montis usually costs between $260 and $295 per night.

Better start saving up those Raider Coins.
