If there is anything constant in gaming, it is that you need to collect money. No matter what type of game you play, you will need to collect a type of currency to help fund your adventures, and The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is no different.

Not every JRPG wants you to win. These 10 PS3 titles pushed players to their limits with unforgiving combat and relentless challenges.

In this title, you need to collect Tul if you want to purchase items from vendors, and you need to collect Magicite to fund your magical endeavors. Luckily, both of these can be found in the wild.

Let's break down the best ways to get both Tul and Magicite in The Adventures of Elliot, as this will help you in any era you may travel to.

Best Farming Route

Adventures of Elliot Farming Route

When it comes to farming both Tul and Magicite, you get both from killing enemies, and there are a lot of enemies on the route to the north in the Age of Safekeeping.

Start by traveling to the Southern Whiterea Adventurer's Outpost in the Age of Safekeeping. From here, travel to the north through the wolf camp, and then move to the west across the river. This will lead to another wolf camp full of enemies.

Once this camp is cleared out, head north to the Northern Whiterea Adventurer's Outpost and enter the Northern Caves. Follow this cave to the exit in the Outlands.

This path has many enemies along it, with them being some of the easiest enemy types to kill. The reason this is important is that it will help you get and maintain the Drop Bonus, getting you more Magicite and Tul during your runs.

When you are finished with this route, teleport back to the Southern Whiterea Adventurer's Outpost and run it again. Be sure to maintain your Drop Bonus as you progress, as this will get you more money and Magicite as it increases.

Run the Temple of Trials

Adventures of Elliot Starting the Sophomore Trial

The Temple of Trials is not something you will have access to early in the game, but you will have access to it about 10 hours into The Adventures of Elliot.

Once you have access to this temple, you can periodically return to it to undertake trials and obtain large amounts of Magicite. The first trial will get you between 30 and 60 Magicite, the second will get you between 125 and 250, and so on.

The more difficult the trial, the more Magicite you can get for completing it. The amount you get is also determined by the amount of time it takes you to complete each room.

Keep in mind, these trials will cost you Tul to access them, with the cost increasing the more difficult they get.

Kill Jewelrie Monsters and Red Lizkits

Adventures of Elliot Attacking A Jewelrie Bug

Jewelrie Monsters will appear in caves, much like the Northern Caves in Whiterea. Each time you enter the cave, there is a chance one of these monsters will spawn.

Jewlrie Monsters look like bugs with Tul embedded in their backs. They will not attack you, instead, opting to run away. Chase them down and hit them as many times as you can, as this will make them drop more money.

I have found that the best way to get money from Jewelrie Monsters is to use the Chain and Sickle special attack. This attack consistently swings the chain around Elliot, and you can use Magicite to apply a stun effect to it.

Additionally, the special attack of the Chain and Sickle allows you to pull enemies in, keeping the Jewelrie Bug close to you. This will help keep the monster stunned while you attack it, getting you more money.

Adventures of Elliot Reaper Fight

Another rare monster is the Red Lizkit, which is similar to a reaper. These enemies will not hesitate to attack you, and they can easily kill you if you aren't prepared.

However, fighting them is worth the effort, as they will drop a large sum of Magicite when killed. This is another enemy I have found that goes down fairly quickly with the Chain and Sickle weapon. You can combine it with the attack increase Magicite for some extra damage, plus the fireball Magicite that allows it to shoot out fireballs during its special attack.

Equip the Right Accessories

Adventures of Elliot Golden Egg in Inventory

There are two accessories in The Adventures of Elliot that will help you get a lot more money and Magicite. These are the Departure Brooch and the Golden Egg.

The Departure Brooch was a pre-order bonus for The Adventures of Elliot, so only those who bought the game early would have it. If you pre-ordered the game, you can find this item in the orphanage in Huther. This item has the effect of increasing the amount of Tul and Magicite that enemies drop.

The Golden Egg, on the other hand, is not a pre-order bonus, and is instead given to you by the Ailurophilic Traveler for finding 35 cats. These cats are scattered all throughout the game. Once you have found enough, the traveler will give you the item. The Golden Egg increases the amount of Tul dropped by enemies by 100%. However, this does not work for Magicite.

Adventures of Elliot Fortune's Brooch

Another accessory that indirectly helps you get more money and Magicite is the Fortune's Brooch. This item increases the spawn rate of both fortune and unfortunate events.

This is a fancy way of saying that it increases the spawn rate of Jewelrie Monsters and Red Lizkits. This means you have more opportunities to kill these monsters for extra money and Magicite.

To obtain this item, you will need to complete the In Search of the Right Sound side quest. This quest is found in the Age of Safekeeping, and is given to you by Nakatani inside the bar near the orphanage.

Open Chests

Adventures of Elliot Money Bag in Chest

There are various chests hidden throughout the game, and each of them contains a reward. Whenever you are going through a dungeon or cave, make sure to check for chests.

While some of them contain extra weapons and Drops of Life, most of them will give you large amounts of money and additional Magicite. If you already have the Magicite, it will be disassembled for you and added to your stockpile.

Chests are always shown on the map, so if you are in a cave, take a look at the map. This will show you if there are any chests left in the area. If there are, go hunt for them. If not, you can move on to the next location.
