Crimson Desert: All Witch Locations

Abyss Cores are very important when it comes to creating a strong build in Crimson Desert. These sphere items can be inserted into your weapons and armor, adding buffs to your characters, such as increased attack power, increased defense, faster attack speed, etc.

However, you can't equip the Abyss Cores into your equipment by yourself. Instead, you need to find the game's witches and have them do the job for you. Unfortunately, finding the game's witches isn't as easy as it sounds.

There are a total of five witches in the game, all hidden away in secret spots. In this guide, we will discuss how to find all the witches in Crimson Desert.

The Hermit Witch

The Hermit Witch can be found near the start of the game, but is completely missable due to her being well-hidden inside a cave north of Hernand city. To find the Hermit Witch, make your way to the waypoint shown in the image below and make your way to the mountain side.

It's here where you will find an opening in the mountainside, leading to a cave where the Hermit Witch is located. The Hermit Witch doesn't offer any quests, but she does allow you to socket your Abyss Cores into equipment.

The Witch of Wisdom

Players will naturally meet the Witch of Wisdom during the main story of Crimson Desert. After beating Kearush, one of the main bosses of Chapter 5, your objective will be to rescue the Witch. Following this questline will lead you to saving the Witch from captivity and eventually ending up at her house.

The Witch of Wisdom, otherwise known as Elowen, has her house southwest of Hernand City. You can craft, socket, extract Abyss Cores at Elowen's shop. Also, speaking to Elowen will unlock the Witch of Wisdom side quest, which involves cleansing a handful of Sanctums in the Hernand region.

The Witch of Kindness

To unlock the Witch of Kindness in Crimson Desert, players need to find her in two locations. She is first found southwest of Pailune city, north of the "P" in Pailune on the map. Her exact location is found in the image below.

When you first find the Witch of Kindness, she will be under a tent, shivering from the freezing cold. In order to get her to talk to you, you need to light the campfire nearby to warm her up.

After speaking to the Witch of Kindness here, she will move to her house in the center of the pond near Silver Wolf Mountains.

Speaking to the Witch of Kindness in her house will unlock her as a merchant for Abyss Cores, as well as unlock the Witch of Kindness side quest. This quest has you cleansing a series of Sanctums within the Pailune region.

The Witch of Humility

Players first need to rescue the Witch of Humility in Beighen. She can be found hanging off the edge of a bridge, screaming for help, so she asks for your help to bring her to safety. The image below shows where to find her.

After rescuing the Witch of Humilty from the bridge, she will teleport to her lair in Serpent Marsh. Her lair can be found inside a cave within Serpent Marsh, which is recognizable by the hanging ribbons.

Once you speak to the witch in her lair, you can begin using her as a merchant for your Abyss Core needs. You will also unlock the Witch of Humility side quest which focuses on cleansing Sanctums.

The Witch of Strength

The Witch of Strength is likely the last witch players will unlock in Crimson Desert. Just like the Witch of Kindness and Humility, players need to find her fake form first before unlocking her as a merchant.

Players can find the Witch of Strength's fake form just north of Tashkalp in the Crimson Desert region, next to a small shed impersonating a kid. Use the image below to learn the exact location of her fake form.

After speaking to the Witch of Strength as a kid, her lair will be marked on your map. It is found on the northern side of the Crimson Desert region, up in the mountains.

After speaking to the witch, you will unlock the Witch of Strength side quest. This quest involves cleansing a handful of Sanctums around the Crimson Desert region.
