Crimson Desert: How to Unlock the White Bear Mount

Five new permanent mounts have been added to Crimson Desert, including the legendary white bear, which is extremely powerful in combat and definitely worth tracking down.

While nothing beats the feeling of traveling across Pywel on your trusted horse, certain situations are better suited for gigantic beasts that will rip foes to shreds on your behalf.

The white bear will do just that, but obtaining this magnificent mount does take a bit of work. In this guide, I'll show you where to find the white bear and how to summon it.

How to Get the White Bear Mount

Summoning the white bear requires you to not only locate the bear and fight it, but you'll also need to take its claws to a witch who will craft the sigil of solidarity.

In order to do this, you'll need access to a witch who possesses the ability to craft abyss gear, such as the witch of wisdom, who can be unlocked after defeating one of the main bosses, Kearush, at the beginning of Chapter 5. The white bear won't let you take it down easily, so make sure you pack some hearty meals and prepare yourself for combat.

Legendary White Bear Mount Location

The white bear is located West of Silver Wolf Mountain, marked by the red X in the picture above.

When you reach this area, look for the mountains on the map (seen above). The bear icon you see in this picture won't appear until after you've killed it and obtained the knowledge, but this is the exact location of the white bear.

Once you've reached the destination, the best way to find the bear is to pay close attention to your minimap and look for a red dot that indicates there is an enemy close by.

I didn't encounter any other enemies in this remote mountain range, so if you're in the right area, and you see a red dot, you'll know it's the bear.

How to Get White Bear Claws

Once you've defeated the bear, skin it to retrieve the white bear claws needed for the next step, as seen in the picture above. Doing this will also unlock knowledge in your journal and permanently mark the animal's location on your map. Now, it's time to visit the witch.

Crafting the Sigil of Solidarity

Go to a witch that possesses the ability to craft abyss gear, such as Elowen, the witch of wisdom, who is located in The WitchWoods, South-West of Hernand, seen above.

Select craft abyss gear in the witch shop, switch to the special items tab, and craft the sigil of solidarity (white bear), seen in the pictures above.

How to Summon the White Bear Mount

Now that you've crafted the sigil, all that's left to do is use it. Enter your inventory, select the sigil (seen above), and use it to permanently add the white bear to your mount collection.

You'll now be able to select the white bear in the character quick slot menu and summon it to your side using the call mount button.
